Is that console? Looks amazing.
OHHH MY!
But it's not 1080p, therefor it can't be impressive and is ugly as hell.Very impressive, really !!!!
To be fair, DICE has never cared much about AA.
Even their post process AA techniques are just cheap fxaa pass that barely does anything and doesn't even touches shimmering issues.
I don't mind 900P if the sacrifices made are justified, either a proper IQ boost like in case of Ryse or in the form of stable framerate. The 40-60 framerate of BF games are alright but there is no denying that BF games are the worst performing games this gen among the games that target 60FPS and have also had below average IQ that is made worse with the lower resolution.
Those stitched shots are effectively supersampled. The regular captures are far from lossless quality so not exactly representative either.I don't know about BF4 but the IQ in SW:BF looks good judging by the pictures:

Seriously, how can someone undermine such visuals with "900P!!!" like there is nothing more than resolution to a game's visuals?
It looks amazing and targeting 60 with such fidelity is impressive, that's why it's at the top right now among few others.
Nice shot.
If this is what the game looks on consoles, targeting 60fps with 40 players online I really don't get the comments about it looking ugly. Even at 900p
Death by snu-snu? xDI think I know how he died
No, The Order uses a letterboxed resolution of 1920x800 and has the same pixel density as 1080p, meaning the IQ is the same as a 1080p game. It loses vertical resolution because it has black bars. The image isn't being upscaled but is displaying 1:1 on a 1080p display. It is displaying more pixels than a 900p game which runs at 1600x900, which then needs to be upscaled to fill a 1080p display.Isn't The Order 900p as well? Who cares so long as it looks good.
I see. My mistake. No, The Order uses a letterboxed resolution of 1920x800 and has the same pixel density as 1080p, meaning the IQ is the same as a 1080p game. lol, you remind me the people who were asking GAF to stop posting GIFs because it crashed Chrome or put it to a crawl... when any other browser could handle those same pages flawlessly.
I don't know, maybe you should try using another browser on your phone, or if you can't be bothered with installing another app on your phone, maybe try using a phone that comes with a default browser that doesn't misbehave. Or if you couldn't live without your beloved phone and are still concerned with your mobile data quotas, maybe just stop browsing this kind of threads from your phone?
But asking people to stop behaving the way they do to fix your own problem is a bit ridiculous.
Uncharted 3

Very, very nice. My favorite Uncharted screenshots in this thread until here.
WTF
Didn't realize we could use it in story mode, is there a trick to it?
Hmm, in these circumstances, DC 900p@60fps, I don't say no...
Have they mentioned anything about putting Luke in the proper costume for Hoth? They even had that right in SWBF II.
Uncharted obviously looks good, a big improvement over the originals but I have to admit that most of the pictures here only emphasize how much better games are looking today.
Even when we are comparing the remasters and not the originals (than the gap would be ever bigger), seriously, even indie games like Rapture and Ethan Carter show a significant gap when compared, I remember that people used to say that they can't see any difference between previous gen and current, I really think it's absurd when even very linear and beautifully remastered games of some of the best looking games on PS3 looks pretty dated compared to most current gen games.
Agreed, only that I had a 28.8K Modem using netscape navigator at the time. I just don't get persons who complain about bandwidth in 2015. I know for a fact that I would not be browsing a screenshot thread on a phone with a data plan, neither would I attempt to watch HQ videos on there either. I always keep track with this thread at home on my 27" IPS monitor and my home connection.I can understand that you don't like repetition, but I seriously wonder what shitty web browser you're using in 2015 that doesn't manage a page's content through its cache system...
Even if it's quoted ten times, each picture should only be downloaded a single time by your browser.
That's how they work nowadays and was already the case back in Netscape Navigator's days, when we only had 33 kbps Internet connections.
Indeed. It's all about the lighting. If you have incredible lighting, the rest of the assets can be mediocre. Just throw in some post-processing that obscures/hides the mediocre stuff, and boom, your game looks incredible. It's why I love this shift to PBR.It's all in the lighting, man.
Thanks! I don't quite agree on the CA though, I really wish it weren't there, but I think the game still looks great despite it, especially in motion. There's a really nice definition to bloodborne, I think the CA is put to good use here. CA in this game helps it's IQ actually. It also helps that Aniso-Filtering seems pretty good in the game as well.....
Nice shots btw....
