Of all of Square Enix's E3 announcements, in the following press releases, only Nier and Star Ocean explicitly referred to being exclusives.

As such, I'm assuming it's actually an exclusive, since they were very careful to avoid that language for things like World of Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 7.

NieR was probably my favourite game from last gen along with Red Dead Redemption.

The gameplay was enjoyable. It offered variety and functionality and was responsive.

Obviously, what we'll have next is going to be better. Can't wait to see it.
