Nier 2, Deus Ex, Hitman are all I truly care about from that list.

Each new reveal for FF15 makes it look more and more like some failed cringeworthy boy band trying way too hard to be edgy ended up hunting monsters somehow in the middle of nowhere. They look really out of place in that environment. The whole thing just looks off.

Any word on if Emi Evans is working with Keiichi Okabe agian on the new NieR project sound design?

She did such an amazing job and her voice is such an integral part of those tracks in the first NieR.

Edit: shoot I spelled her name wrong when trying to google it the first time. I checked again and to answer my own question, yes she is.

If theres no platform-holder money involved, I see little risk in a pc version. SE leaving that money on the table, also known as "doing a Sega".

The fact that we've seen so little of Mankind Divided really worries me, considering its impending release date.

It has a devoted fanbase who really really love it, and there's no reason to hate on the game at all, so you'll mostly see endless praise when people are talking about it.

This is amazing. A lot of people, myself included, were worried at first about Platinum involved, but their love for the game is not just PR talk, but actually the only reason this is being made at all.

E3 2015 in general was the stuff of fan fictions. To these days I periodically re-watch the Sony and Square-Enix conferences and I still cannot believe everything that happened in them. It was brutal.

It still blows my mind that S-E greenlighted a more expensive NieR game with Platinum developing it. It has no reason to exist.

Wasn't there a thing about the NieR fanbase also buying a lot of the supplemental stuff for NieR (soundtracks, artbooks, books, etc.) and they got some decent profit out of those too?

Not to say that there are people inside the company itself who likes Yoko Taro (which is how Drakengard also got 3 games lol).

Nier and FFXV HOLY SHIT!!!

This year has been too insane. It's funny cause I'm rewatching Sonys e3 conference right now and still have tears coming down my face. Never did I expect this gen to hit my feels this hard.....honestly. If legend of dragoon ever gets announced as a remake I probably would die of a heart attack before touching it because I'm not sure if my body can take any more excitement!

Also, does anybody know why NieR is called NieR?

I've kind of made up my own idea but it isn't based on anything that should be taken seriously. I only now just realized that my idea probably isn't a valid reason and I"m wondering if any of you have an idea?

I really hope that there will be a rerelease of Nier on the ps4 or xbox one like what happened to Bayonetta on the Wii U.

I no it's probably fahr fetched but I can still hope.

NieR's pronunciation is similar to 「Near」in English.

It insinuated that the body and the soul should be very close.

However, the body and the soul were isolated and opponent in real life.

I got this information from other website.

That was actually close to what I thought but more of the closeness and intimacy between the situation between the characters both shade and replicant .

EDIT: I figured the misspelling was because it's a word of the ancients and perhaps only known as passed down from oral tradition like the song of the ancients. An english word but with the german ie sound.
