That's being made by a company started by the former art director at thatgamecompany. At last check TGC had raised 7m last year to develop whatever game they're working on.

Asked this in some other thread as well, but is anyone here going to this event? I have a press invite for Paris Games Week but as this is at another venue I'm not sure whether the invite extends to it.
I'm pretty sure the conference itself depends on another invite. I know several people from a gaming website that are going to the salon as press, but only two of them are allowed into the conference.

Yeah, and I expect them to show it since it's already releasing in February. It also doesn't hurt the chances that Ubisoft are French.

Far Cry: Primal is 100 %. It's Ubisoft and they're sitting in france.

If so, hopefully there's a non-VR version as well. Cost of entry will be a barrier to a lot of people.
Bend is possible. GT7 and Wipeout, 0% chance.
Didn't Mirror's Edge flop too and EA is still making a new one? Did Dead Space 3 sell actually poorly or just poorly compared to EA's lofty "5 million copies sold or bust" ambitions?

Dead space relies on what the battlefield hardline visceral team is doing unless they have been put on to the star wars amy hennig game

This is entirely my own observation but Mirror's Edge seems to be something of a passion project for DICE so maybe commercial considerations can be waived to keep them happy. After all they are the architects of Frostbite, EA's internal game engine, and they have Battlefield and now Battlefront on their roster. Also they only ever got one shot at ME (back when they were arguably less important to EA overall), Dead Space had 3 shots at meeting EA's expectations.
Wait, what? Tekken Tag 2 is a great game and one of the best in the series IMO. Tekken 7 looks to be revamping the mechanics and it seems to play well so far.The way Tekken is going I hope I never see it again. Tekken 5

DS3 did ok I think. The reason why there is no DS4 is Visceral being busy with other things - which in EA's opinion are more likely to be successful.
Mirror's Edge is that game which clearly has potential even though the first game didn't do so well. DS already had this realized in 2 and 3 so these situations aren't comparable.
Anyway, I think it's safe to assume that EA is Star Wars + Battlefield + NFS + sports from now on. Expecting anything else from them is kinda pointless.
I'll agree with your last point. ME has a lot more room to evolve into a financial success but Dead Space has had it's time in the sun and it didn't perform well enough for EA so I agree that it is very unlikely. It's still sad that a game would have to sell 5 million in order to be considered a success.
