I also wasn't a fan of the battle system but it was inoffensive enough for me ignore it. Looks like there's some additional enhancements in the form of linking up your S-Crafts but not much else.

Dang is the PC version pretty though. I'm probably going with PSP version because I prefer it on a handheld and I played the FC on my commute....but visually the PC version makes itself really tempting.

Can't you hook up your PSP to the PC and transfer it that way? PSP -> PC -> Vita?

Though he was allowed to be dismissed from the organisation at the end of the game. Though the realisation that he's betrayed (unknowingly) his loved ones throughout the game (and the memory that he used to do a lot of evil shit) made him decide to embark on his solo-journey to destroy said organisation

Omg finally yes!!! This and Yakuza 5, Japanese gaming heaven!

But now I'm conflicted....Vita or PC....
PC is clearly better for graphics and the improved localization but I like to play these games on a portable system (usually when I'm in bed before sleeping ) and I also have the first on PSP so it's not an obvious decision...

Anyway you can buy it on the us store if you don't want to wait, I bought the first with my us account. Considering the game is English only it really doesn't make a difference.

First game had a physical release on PSP. PC version never did. No chance the PSP version of SC could, for obvious economic reasons -- and a PC version just wouldn't be able to justify it, sadly, with how retailers are with PC games in NA.

A PSP physical release with two UMD disc in 2015? That was the first game. It's digital only with SC.
