There have been entire threads complaining about the prevalence of remasters this gen across all platforms. All the companies get both hate and praise for them in equal measure. I guess the companies that put out remastered collections might get less total for it because of perceived value.

I think Nintendo skins in the WiiU variant of Minecraft are way more plausible than anything related to Minecraft in smash.

Youtube personalities. Jwitz does a lot of nintendo streams (particularly mario party, IIRC). The completionist likes to 100% games. Both nintendo fans.

I think they're both big on pokemon and zelda, also, so could be related to those franchises, as well.

Plus jwitz is mostly known for his Pokemon videos. He was a commentator for one of the Pokemon Regional tournament. (I think it was Regional)

Jwittz leaked Flatzone X back before Smash 4 was out with his review copy.

It was an accident and he removed it immediately, but funny to see him now doing something official with Nintendo.

I wanted to emphasize that there is concrete evidence of news being possible for those things. Presume just means it's probable, doesn't have to be tied to concrete evidence. Can just be because it's likely to happen (because it's been a long time, because things normally happen on a schedule, etc).

He is still in good terms with Nintendo like Jirard. So I guess it makes sense to get Youtubers to help them out. Think they did that with ProJared, PBG, and him on Tri-Force Heroes.

Don't think Zeldas showing up until E3. It's still coming to Wii U but it skipped last E3 and will not be shown again until the NX reveal so it can be a showcase for the system. The Wii U version will still come but Nintendo will be mostly quiet about it and act like the NX one is the main version.

Something small that I would like to see: the Splatoon amiibo challenges made available to everyone. I really enjoyed the single player and replaying it with added challenge would be awesome (for those of us who don't want to buy the figures).

I want this. I want this so bad. Racing games interest me so minimally but the original DKR is one of the best games ever to me. I even like the DS port a lot, touchscreen shenanigans and all. The rumor swirling around this game and its use of characters like Rusty, Mallo, and other "B-tier" Nintendo stars is wonderful and fits the big N so well. I'd love to see this come to pass.

-Luigi's Mansion & Dark Moon 2-Pack HD Remaster

Eh, why not keep dreaming big. Capcom showed they could make masterful 2D Zelda games. I'd love to see what they could do on 3DS. The Oracle games and Minish Cap are among my favorite Zeldas. Animal Buddies and Subrosia need to make a comeback.

If it's coming sooner than later (spring/summer) on Wii U, and it's still Wii U exclusive, it'll be mentioned during this direct.

If it's cross-gen, we'll get more info during the NX reveal (likely after fiscal year 2015, so around may).

Otherwise, yeah, E3.

There's a pretty huge difference between WW-HD and most of the PS3-PS4 remasters we've seen though, mostly because, WW (and TP) weren't actually HD games before the remaster.

To me the JP game does not exists, hence my hype

Plus I will be playing this in english

Nope! Assume means that it's probable, otherwise you wouldn't be assuming. Presuming is when you believe something due to facts or experience :)
