Extremely.
Exploring and shooting are great, rpg elements got a downgrade but are still serviceable. An excellent followup to 3 and NV.

Thanks for the advice, I figured it out. I'm not high enough level for armorer rank 4 but rank 3 still let's me get 90 damage and energy resistance, putting my total at over 200. Awesome.
It burrowed out of the ground where the x is down the alley way... the marker on the maps.
I don't know if I can be more clear than this.

Can't you reverse pickpocket some armor with better stats on it onto him? Or doesn't that work anymore.

if it had the touch of an competent RPG quest/dialogue designer it'd basically be braindead simple GOTY material because the open world aspect + combat aspect of the game is mind-mindbogglingly good
the core shooting mechanics are legitimately super satisfying and the world still has a lot of interesting stuff to it, though there is a bad case of quantity over quality (to an overwhelming degree of quantity, to be fair) for locales as a whole that starts to wear on you but only like literally 50+hours into your playthrough which is very impressive regardless

So my vetibird glitched and took me an entire maps length south into the skybox before crashing. It was a horrific abyss of repeated textures and solidless mountains. At the end though right before my game crashed deep in the skybox I saw unique items, a small glimmer of hope before death.

I can't find any more women settlers near the Tenpines shack. Only found 2 so far near the shack and one took me 20 minutes to drag back. Will try again tomorrow.
So the easy answer is to setup a settlement as your deathtrap. Unlock an empty settlement like the drive in, or the red rocket, and move your settlers there from other populated settlements. You unlock so many settlements in the game, as long as they all have recruitment towers you should have no trouble finding a steady flow of victims. But maybe that's too easy and a challenge is part of the fun.

Do legendary enemies drop better gear on higher difficulties? Seems every time I kill one I get another useless piece of armor.
Seems to only affect legendary enemy appearance rate but I'm not sure.
I have noticed I've gotten more useful perks on Very Hard compared to Hard, but this might just be a consequence of seeing a larger sample size.

I dunno, I wanna judge Teemo because I feel like it's creepy singling out women like that. But then again, I laugh my ass of at Many a aTrue Nerd's Kill Everything playthroughs and the delight in his voice is palpable while he eats corpses in the game.

At the moment...kind of. I just want to finish the main quest and then I'll probably be done for a while. The world is not very interesting, they destroyed the dialogue options, the amount of weapons, places, and things to do is overwhelming and I feel very constricted and uncomfortable. The last time I felt this way was with The Witcher 3...maybe I'll just go and finish that(not even done with Act 1 so no likely)...basically I think it's a good game, but could have been handled better.

No. He was meaning the perks on the items he was getting from the legendary items due to him seeing more because of the higher difficulty.

Thats the best time to stay in character.
if you threaten them with the voice of the shroud, all his goons run away scared.
Staying in character is the best way to do that too.
But thats the part where its most important!
You keep staying in character and all the goons freak out and run and you just kill the boss quickly
