It's been a great year for dogs in games. So GAF which dog is top dog?

D-Dog-Metal Gear Solid V

Loyal companion to Venom Snake. This wolf dog can accompany Big Boss on any mission. With the ability to bark out the locations of soldiers and to go in up close and personal to slit their throats with a knife, D-Dog can do it all. Raised from a pup to full adulthood in a couple of days, this dog is something special. Easily the best companion next to Quiet, you will want to bring him along on almost every mission.

Dogmeat-Fallout 4

Your loyal companion in Fallout 4. Step out of the vault and you immediately have a new best friend. Instantly loyal and completely invincible Dogmeat will accompany you in the Wastelands. He can grab pesky raiders, so you can line up your VATS shots easier. He doesn't even count as a companion so you can use the Lone Wanderer perk while he his accompanying you. Truly a great companion.

Annoying Dog-Undertale

Undertale is full of dogs, but the Annoying Dog is probably the most iconic. The lovable little guy pops up throughout the game causing havoc where ever it goes. Whether it's being part of a trap, stealing bone based special attacks, or programming a game, the Annoying Dog does it all. He even has theme song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s06dqOGKQNg

Yarn Poochy-Yoshi Wooly World

The most hugable dog on the list. It's poochy in yarn form. What else do you need? Look at it's stupid face. Don't you just want to hug it?

Watchdog of the Old Lords- Bloodborne

It's a dog, it's on fire, and it's going to kill you. This is some high quality dog we got here. Found in the chalice dungeons(I think) it will give you a good time.

Are there any other dogs that should be noted for their importance this year?
