I made a post on top of page, I guess last page if on 50 posts per page. My sweetfx config may be what contributes the most to the look I got, wasn't sure I'm done tweaking it, but if you want to try it I can upload it somewhere. It definitely does look better because when I take it out and look at vanilla again it looks so dull. I was focused on just the colors, don't have any of the fancy DoF or effects. Mostly everything is modded though. These look awesome dude. What mods are you using?
Here it is Sweetfx configI started with this
Enhanced Wasteland Preset
But wasn't really happy with it and edited it so much that it's really my own custom one now.
Mods in those shots I guess I had
Vivid Fallout Landscapes
Vivid Fallout Rocks
Grafix Texture Overhaul 2.0
Everything from this one for textures besides landscapes because using Vivid ones.
A little bit of Green
More Grass
Using x3 version and looks great with green grass.
Radiant Clouds and Fogs
True Storms
And I recommend Darker Nights I use the "Dark" level of it and love it.
If you want to try my reshade/sweetfx config I can maybe share it somewhere.
WTF?! How did they manage to add SSR via ReShade? :O
Whats the cost?
Just the vanilla assault gas mask.Wat?
People posted PLENTY of shots but there's only a handful of maps. Anymore shots and we'd just be seeing the same stuff over and over again. The game is really starved for content.
What helmet is that?
Oh wow! It's actually working!
I only tried it on Witcher but got totally random results.
Marty should be more vocal about this. It's huge!
Just tested on Dark Souls - lookin' damn fine!
whoever did the backgrounds for homeworld remastered is an incredible artist, seriously

i got called out on those being more perspective than isometric so i tried my hand at uh, more accurate isometric shots i guess
i uh, actually didn't even notice the rotation of the characters/objects, haha. i just kinda looked at the scene and thought 'yeah that looks like roughly the angle fallout 2 was at i guess' based on the doorwaysI've tried the exact same thing with Fallout 4, but I gave up just because it took so long to get everything looking right, especially with the rotation of characters and objects. Kudos on you for trying though, it looks pretty good - much better than what I had, that's for sure!
mediator creates a reshade.fx junction (link) in the folder where the exe is? You could manually install reshade, I don't think it needs the exe, it needs the injector dll to be present (reshade32/64.dll) and named as a file loaded by the .exe, e.g. d3d11.dll. If that dll is in the exe folder, windows will load that dll instead of the one in the windows\system32 folder, hence it works So the load order is (simplified): exe orders windows to load d3d dll, windows looks in exe folder first, sees dll there (it's the reshade dll though, renamed as the d3d dll), reshade dll is loaded. Reshade dll then loads the actual d3d dll it is named after and also the reshade fx file and shaders defined in pipeline.cfg.Ha, I was hoping to use the ReShade reflections in Portal1/2...but no depth buffer access it seems
Portal seems to be a weird case in general, I don't know how to use the most recent ReShade version with it as the game executable is in a different folder than where the ReShade files have to go (/bin folder). With the old ReShade versions that's no problem as everything just goes there but the old versions are missing some cool features.
Anyone know how this works with the mediator version?

thanks though! this is super fun and i can't stop trying to get these shots because it's such a different perspective that (bizarrely) looks better than how the game is actually presented
Colors and lighting look great in all these shots, really natural.
