CubeUpload is currently down, is there any other image host that doesn't track bandwidth?
I cannot use imgur because they convert my PNGs to JPG.

Would abload.de work for you? I don't know if they track bandwidth or not.
I'm curious just what they are going to call this game in the US. I doubt they will call it "Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem", but at the same time, I would think they want to go with something. Maybe "Performa #FE"? The only issue I see with that one is it being read all the time as "Hashtag FE" instead of "Sharp FE" like it was intended.

I'm sure they'll stick with the "sharp FE" stuff despite the hashtag nonsense. I think giving it a sort of "Revelations" inspired name would work best, maybe even just straight up translating it as "Illusory Revelation" or "Mirage Story" to tie it in with the Mirages or something.
Worse case scenario they just shove in a Shin Megami Tensei in front of the title and call it a day, and even that isn't so bad. Frankly, I wouldn't mind asking a store clerk about pre-ordering "Shin Megami Tensei: Mirage Revelations: #FE"

No I just wanted to add it since Cipher is gaining traction anyway. Lucina being in the game wouldn't bother me. I would prefer if more callbacks to the original were added. I will update with more toi8 art soon.
The Sample CD with the Image Songs will be in the Fortissimo package, we won't have a Full Soundtrack until after the game release.
Whatever they do, they will have a difficult time I am sure. All "English" names here are from my own. Whatever we can do to help create a positive image for this game as well as keep it as true to it's origins as possible would be preferred and most appreciated by fans I'm sure.

They did confirm a full OST release though, correct? I am really excited to buy this OST as well as SMT IV FINAL's that was just recently announced.
Nope, all they've announced thus far is the Special Vocal Selection CD with the 6 tracks. I imagine a full OST release would be inevitable, but who knows how that will work out considering Avex Group's involvement.
They've also announced that concert for Genei Ibun Roku in May 2016.
I haven't followed that, I see no listing or announcement on it as of yet, so non at the moment.

The outer box for the Fortissimo edition is likely the same/similar to the NA Xenoblade X Collectors Edition. Everything about this game's packaging screams stylish and colorful tho.

Unless there are more cameos in the end game, I don't think so. I think I read one of the blogs stating that they are specifically from these two games.
I would love to be wrong considering I love Seisen no Keifu and Thracia776 to death.
If you buy this game, it gives a slightly higher chance this won't be a one off thing and we may get a sequel or actual franchise series for #FE. Then we can ask for more Fire Emblem chara.

I'd imagine all of those pervy costumes will be taken out since they did that with Fatal Frame V. Just depends who does the localization, I guess.

Can't wait for impressions. Despite different expectations people had for this game, in the end I hope it's a solid Altus JRPG.
There are no pervy costumes, stop quoting it and please read and reference the OP before posting. I thought I made this clear.
The game encompasses everything else in the Entertainment Industry there, which includes Gravure photoshooting and all the flashy costumes that idols where to put on a new persona on stage, like wearing makeup or a mask.
The game is rated CERO B in Japan and is expected to be M in the West if E3 is to be referenced, which means we expect that people should be mature enough to discuss this game regardless of content.
I ask that we please respect the OT and the other members looking forward to discussion and impressions so that we do not lock the thread and ruin it for everyone else.
That means pecking your feet and making any offhanded comments that ignore the OP.
I share your sentiment as a long time FE fan, FE was my very first RPG ever on the SFC so it holds a really special place in my heart. The Jugdral games shouldn't be forgotten.
I hope so too. If you want to know more about the RPG mechanics in depth I will do my best to explain whenever I can. From the footage I've seen, the system is pretty deep. It's not like the Press Turn system, but it's a nice alternative and opens up to new strategies in battle, especially with all the Extra Skills at your disposal.

Day fucking one if so! I don't mind if I have to keep the tea tray of doom nearby as an occasional second screen, but I find it incredibly uncomfortable to hold for long gaming sessions, so being able to use the godly Pro would make my day!

Looking forward to the impressions of the Japanese GAF community/importers and how this thread will evolve in general. I normally don't get hyped that easily but I admit I'd be lying if I said I don't have high hopes for this game. The combination of Fire Emblem and Atlus just amasses to a strong combination I expect a great collab title from.

Just PM me about whether Maiko is playable, preferably with a pic of her battle gear + Performa. This will have a severe effect on my hype levels.

She is most definitely playable if the plot and the promotional references are to go by.
There isn't a second mage confirmed mage in the group of characters yet so you can make an educated guess that Maiko will be the Sorceress/Nine the Phantom you're secretly wishing for.
Barry has already been seen wielding an axe.

The last dude with the samurai mummy look is cool, too.
We don't know yet.
We do know that there are dozens of costumes to choose from outside of Carnage form. We also don't know for sure if Class Changes affect your Carnage Form later.
A cool thing to note is that Maiko has heterochromia, she has one grey eye and one blue eye. She also has a necklace that has the Fortuna logo on it, showing that she indeed is pretty high up in status as President of Fortuna Entertainment.

I believe this game will be great. From the confidence shown by Yamagami Hitoshi in interview posted on the official site and the small amount of info on the story presented by Nintendo to the unique and unprecedented use of idol theme in a fantasy RPG, I am convinced that there are still many great things are hidden by the staff which will certainly provide a great experience to the players.
Edit: SMT48 made me laugh.

Just about to buy this from the web eShop. I've never really played really played an Atlus game (SMTIV is the only one and I'm only ~3 hours in), but I love Fire Emblem and this looks like it might be up my alley. I don't know how much time I'll have to devote to playing (or whether my impressions will be interesting at all), but I will share what I can.

I am really excited for this game to come west. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but I expect it to be in the September to December window. I will keep an eye on people's impressions, but I am convinced that I am going to really like this game. And if there is any info for a full OST, which I will need to import.
