Interesting, might pick this up. I haven't finished the first season yet, stopped watching for unknown reasons. I intend to finish at some point though.

Seems like a nice game to have on the vita, unless there are recommendations against that.

Fantastic game. Just make sure you've got enough party poppers to make it through the snore-inducing first couple of chapters.

Awesome. Feel better for having waited on this. This, DanganRonpa and P4G could make the PSTV my console of the gen, so far.

Good deal! I bought the physical version for $19.99 on Amazon a couple of weeks ago, so I'll pass on this.

I've been playing on and off since getting it. This game is awesome.

Just wanted to say thanks to Sony for keeping this at $16 in Canada too. With everything else being 35% more expensive it's nice that at least this isn't.

Why did I have no idea what this game was?

Is it something like 999/VLR? Or nearly as good?

It's a visual novel like those games. There are no puzzles to solve, however. The gameplay consists of using your phone to send or reply to messages and call people. You can also choose not to reply, or not to answer a call. This is the only way to affect the story.

It may sound simplistic, but imagine being in a very tense moment, and deciding in a very limited time whether or not to answer that decisive phone call, or to press the "Send" button for that significant message. The game will throw those moments at you. It's very interesting.

Steins;Gate is definitely a fantastic game, and at this price should be tried by anyone.

Whenever a game has dubs, I usually choose the dub.

But with Steins;Gate, there's no way I'd want anything other than the original voices.

I don't understand this mentality. The anime had one of the greatest dubs ever produced, so I don't see why the original Japanese audio can never be surpassed.

But anyway people, please buy this game!

I prefer the original audio w/subs, every time. Yet is subjective. This game has me verrrry tempted. I think I'm about to pull the trigger, I love this genre.

Is it the same story as the anime or do I need to watch the anime first ? I'm not really into Animes but I like great VN.

I have the anime blu-rays with the original and the English dubs. That was an informed post, not a "mentality".

You're free to disagree, however.

Will I dig this if I like Danganronpa 1 and 2? I haven't really played any VNs outside of those two.

it's like those but without the walking and the class trials and all. Just the reading part. But if you don't have something against certain anime cliches, you might like it. It's really good.

Damn, guess I won't bother.

Duuude, you really don't want to replace the awesometastic japanese dub with some lowlevel english dub, i tell you.

Anyone with an interest in video games and story telling needs this, stat. Like a few others here, it was my goty last year \o/ No small feat given that 2015 also had Mario Maker!

I watched the anime afterwards and also loved that, though the game comes out on top due to its greater detail.

One of the worst dubs, more like.

I thought the dub was fantastic, in particular Okabe's VA really impressed me.

Well, the dub's localization was a bit overzealous. I thought the voices were pretty good regardless, I wouldn't have minded having them as an option in the VN if they kept the script the same as it is now.

The Japanese voices are still great though, anyone who disregards the game just because it has no English dub is missing out.
