NA PSN Sale

Is Battlefront worth it?

I love the franchise.

Some have been a little disappointed that it does not hit the heights of the original games, and doesn't have as much content, but for me personally, the game is a load of fun and very much worth the sale price. Still plenty of good times to be had! Plus as a Star Wars nerd, it is incredible to play in that world.

Tempted by Touch My Katamari. I'm a huge fan of the first two PS2 games, but I found the PS3 and 360 ones to be a bit too much of a cynical copy-paste... I guess the Vita game is more of that, huh?

I see that bullet storm is on sale for 4.99. How is that on PS3? I used to have it for 360 back in the day but never finished it and kind of misremembered how good it was.

Apparently Battlefield Hardline Premium is on sale on the EU PSN, down 40% to €29.99 but no sale at all on it on the NA PSN. Seriously wtf EA?

Does Dragon Age GOTY just give me access to the game + DLC as separate files, or is it one giant thing? (I own the disc version).

I'm sure this has been asked a ton, but how accessible is Pirate Warriors 3 if I know next to nothing about the series?
I'm playing right now and it do all the prologue to One Piece universe... so it pretty much give you everything you need.
It gives even more plot story than Pirate Warriors 1.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Decided to buy Dark Souls II for the third time. This time on PS4! Hopefully now I'll finally finish it since its digital and I can't get frustrated and sell it. lol

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Guess it's time to play the Tales games. I've always been curious.

I played the demo for ToV on 360 and adored it, but my console died. The art styles and protagonists of the others never appealed to me in the same way, but I'm super curious.

Which should I get: Dark Souls 2 or Tales of Zesteria? I've already played Dark Souls 2 on PS3 but not the dlc. I've been looking at Tales of Zesteria for some time now, but I don't know which I should get.

Well, I'll throw you a warning from my perspective. I've played Tales of Vesperia, Graces f, Hearts R and Xillia to completion, and I quit Zestiria after 10 hours because it is one of the most boring experiences I've had with any RPG. Garbage story, garbage camera, and bad graphics even considering it's a PS3 port (copy paste dungeon textures yay) didn't help either.

Those are some sick deals on the Tales of series (they're all pretty much +30 hours long), but I already own all of them except for Zestiria.

Will probably hold out on Zestiria to be sub-$20 since I've heard mostly middling things about it....

Think I will get that SAO game for $5, even though I never watched the anime as well as that One Piece: Unlimited World Red game.

Stay away from Zestiria.

Ha, is it that bad? Like I said I have heard pretty mixed things about it

I've played Xillia, Xillia 2, Graces f, Symphonia and enjoyed them all, but Symphonia is probably my favorite. I also have Hearts R backlogged.

Wow, I guess I'll go with Dark Souls 2 and try out SAO.

So I still play BF4, and I have Hardline sitting on my shelf as I didnt find it all that great....Does anyone know if more people are playing Hardline vs Bf4 right now? Seems like BF4 is still alive and well (at least on ps4).

And NFS for $20....hmmmm anyone recommend it? I liked Rivals and love arcadey racing games but the new NFS seemed to get mixed reactions.

Pretty much every NFS get mixed reactions. First you have people that don't like arcade racers/drifters... but even within NFS fans you've got ones that want Underground, or Hot Pursuit, or whatever and no new game is quite what they want.

I only played the beta for this one [buying it soon] but had a blast with it once I played with car customization a bit. I really enjoyed the handling, the fmv cutscenes were goofy and fun, and the cops, while there, weren't as aggressively annoying as in Rivals.

So after enjoying Battlefront, I've been thinking about Battlefield 4. Should I bother, or am I just in for a world of hurt?

B4 is a great game.

So who gets the $ from perpetual online sales of Kingdoms of Amular? I'm secretly hoping there's some guy in a Rhode Island government office saying "we need to pave some roads, put Kingdoms of Amular on sale this week"

well I bought hardline for PS4. seems there are more players on there. It's a decent multiplayer game for $13. I wish they would have just cancelled the premium service on it because i'm sure there are like, 100 people who bought premium or play the premium maps.

I need to get around to picking up a $10 psn code from amazon to grab SAO.
Looks like the EU store is also doing the EA sale but not the BN one.

I never watched the SAO anime, can I play Hollow Fragment?

An JRPG for that price is really tempting

You will be a little lost with character backstory if you didn't watch the first 15 episodes of the anime, but it's not much of a big deal and the game can easily be played on its own. The game story lines are completely separate.

But yeah, the first 15 episodes of SAO are really good though, lol.

I played it for a week and got bored with it. It has really nice graphics, but that's about it. I would buy Battlefield if you don't already own it.

Thanks, your post actually made me realize I don't really need it.

I don't actually like BF that much. Decided to pick Dark Souls 2, even though I have already played it on the 360.

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
So Zestiria isn't recommended, even at that price?

I suppose I'll give one piece 3 a chance. Adore the musou games, but have zero reference for the anime. Doesn't appear to be an issue for enjoyment at least.

I'd say it's definitely worth it for $30 if you enjoy Tales games...
