Unravel 10 hour trial now available on EA Access

The EA Access trail is now up for Unravel on Xbox One. (I'm not sure if its up on Origin Access.) It's 3 GB and is a 10 hour trial, which from what I've read is only the first 2 levels.

Is this confirmed as 10 hours? I thought it had been reduced on EA access? Is it 10 hours for two levels as the OP says or full 10 hours?

I wonder if someone will try to stream/record themselves trying to make the first two levels last ten hours.

It's 10 hours, but it only lets you play the first two levels. So there's probably like an hour of content there. But you can replay it as much as you want, for up to ten hours.

Is it possible to pay £4, play Unravel for 10 hours on a couple of levels, and then cancel the monthly subscription afterwards?

Not actually that important

Of course. You pay £3 (iirc, since it's 4€) and have a whole month of EA Access to play anything in the vault till the end of your sub.

Yeah but it would be nice if they gave full access to subscribers, not first 2 levels only. I would rather wait for full release.

I guess this will be "demo" strategy in the future.

Yeah, it's a demo. Like what critics would get for previews. Wouldn't a full release a week in advance go against their launch plans? Maybe the developers still need to polish the game up to release and are not ready to send out the full game a week early?

Completely understand why they limit it to 2 levels but man, you can't advertise your service with "real games, not demos" even if you also say that it is a trial.

Full access for 10 hours would be the kiss of death (sales wise) to most single player centric games though, as most people would complete the whole thing in that time. Full access for 10 hours only really works for games like PVZ or Sports games - where multiplayer makes replay-ability high.

The other option would have been maybe two hours with full access, that might have been better.

I downloaded the trial on PC but I can't play it at all. The game either crashes on startup or crashes when starting a new game. I've turned off any running processes that could possibly cause a conflict but to no avail.

Mine the controls are messed up... its always getting a UP input

Played it up till I was stuck at a point. (There was a box and a piece of the world I couldn't get the box up and over.) Really charming game and fun. I planned on getting the game regardless, but this just cemented my feelings.

Really enjoying the game finished the first level. I got stuck on the teeter totter part but figured it out after trying around for 10 minutes.

I'm stuck here too. Game is gorgeous, great style and a unique mechanic.

Edit: You have to make a 3-anchor bridge between the lower, middle, and upper "nails", then drag the box up along them.

Looking forward to everyone's feedback. Super interested in the game but the "feel" of the game is important in a 2D platformer. I hope it's more similar to Mario, Rayman or Donkey Kong Country in feel than it is to stuff like LittleBigPlanet or Puppeteer.

Downloading the trial now. This game wasn't on my radar until recently can't wait to try it. Do we know how many levels are in the full game?

I'm stuck. I think I'm near the end of the sea level. I'm right past the part with the four crabs with a trap above them. I can't get the wooden door open due to a piece of wood stuck in the way and can't figure it out. Any help?
