Give it that rust hue to match Mars instead of the red and I'd call that perfect. Maybe make the logo a little dirtier to reflect the placement. Like chipped edges where the teeth line up or something.

I very much doubt the matter of the official cover is open for debate, but I can see Bethesda warming to the idea of offering an alternative cover a la 2K with BioInf.

The idea of the cover is not bad, but the execution in that instance is horrible.

I don't mind the piss color at all personally. And I really don't get the hate when a game's color palette is designed around it.(And they usually are and often have some significance like the irradiated wasteland in Fallout or represent the muggy humid near desert heat in RE5, I loved the gold look of HR too)
Not everything has to be super oversaturated ultra realistic 1:1 real life colors!

It's better than Hollywood Orange and Blue at least. And movies almost always never look true to the conditions they were actually filmed in too.
