Really excited for this, 4 player coop is going to be so much fun. Announcement date to release date is incredible as well.

Can IGN be even a little bit arsed to record games in their natve framerate anymore? Like what hell?

Edit: This is giving me max anarchy vibes (in a good way)

Oh nice, I didn't know you could hot-swap between turtles in single player. Looks good.

Wouldn'tbe the first game though, 'Out of the Shadows' allowed you to do that and I think had offline co-op?

No offline co-op though unless this video shows some of it?

Not a fan of all the turtles being on screen at all times even in single player.
It's going to be chaotic and I don't want the ai to fight my battles for me.

While watching this I came to the realization that the first TMNT movie is the only one to my recollection where Mikey explicitly does not like anchovies on his Pizza.

Pizza lore is important.

Holy crap, this is like TMNT meets Crackdown, meets Sunset Overdrive...LOL

You have projectile weapon upgrades, can grind rails/scale buildings, and collect green orbs.

I didn't expect all four turtles to be there at all times, even in singleplayer. I don't really want AI characters killing enemies before I can. How am I going to get sick combos going in the middle of a chaotic melee while three other AI-controlled guys are wailing away?

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of that either. Hopefully the difficulty is balanced well enough so the AI doesn't make it too easy.

Other than that though, the video got me pretty hyped.

Not a fan of the map

the walls in the end of the map looks horrendous as if the turtles are fighting inside an enormous box.

was hoping for a linear maps for each level personally like the PS2 game.

THIS LOOKS SO GOOD

Over-the-shoulder shuriken-throwing, parachutes deployed from their butts, Sunset Overdrive-style grinding and ziplines, spinning off pipes like the high wires in Mario Sunshine, switching characters mid-combo...

YESSSSSS

I knew this was looking too good to be true, of course there isnt
The camera would be spazzing out into infinity because you can go up and down stuff
It can't work with offline co-op the same way Sunset Overdrive can't have offline co-op because of all the traversal

Dont blame platinum. Activision is notoriously cheap with their licensed titles and anything thats not a core money maker. Look no further than deadpool, transformers devistation, and alot of the latter spiderman games for proof of that. Activision likely gave platinum pennies to work with and I have no doubt they will get it right where it counts, the game play.

Every platinum have has dead environments. Nothing new there. Still going to get it for sure. I see Bebop has 7 health bars. This is going to be good.

God, some of those repeated soundbytes in the Gamespot video are already getting too much for me

TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan |OT| THANKS FOR THE SWEET COLLABORATION!

Terrible release date, it's gonna get destroyed with that packed May.
Not feeling it BTW, judging from the video.
I was hoping for something different, this is not the Turtles X PlatinumGames game I would have dreamed about.

map looks a bit barren. i love the concept of comboing and synergising all the turtles abilities though. mikeys co-operative move looks amazing xD also they nailed the look and character of bebop and rocksteady.

lol at "heeeeere's donny!"
