Seriously. The cost of PC gaming isn't what keeps me away, it's the fucking around. I don't want to have to touch Windows, ever, or spend evenings sitting at a desk in front of a monitor like I did all day at work. PS4K is also a day one purchase for me. I get the complaints about potential user base fragmentation for sure, but the comparison to PC gaming is nonsensical IMO.
Eh...it's been pretty much a non issue for a while now. I use a Xbox 360 controller with my PC that's hooked up to my TV with Steam set to start automatically in big picture mode. I also have an application (can't remember the name) that makes my controller emulate a mouse if I press the back button; press it again and it's back to a controller. Really the only "messing around" I have to do is installing driver updates every now and then.
