I love it too, and thankfully the RNG favoured me and gave me the module on my first go. I actually got quite a few rare modules on my first playthroughs of the songs. I'll probably hate it if I ever play through it again, but...

I really, really wish that the dev team will make DLC forward compatible one day. Techically there shouldn't be any reason not to let us use F 2nd DLC in X. They've removed things from the note maps, and changed the way scores work, but it should have been doable and would've greatly increased the value of the DLC.

I want to play Yellow, Meteo, BRS, and my other favourites with the new modules.

Through the first pass of Neutral, Cute, and Beauty. 2 rare drops so far (Patchwork Staccato and Sea Lily). Not to the point of grinding for drop yet, trying to keep my voltage% high to get Clear+'s. I do have at least one module for increasing rare drops, not sure what level.

Is it not possible to have multiple characters in some medleys? I tried adding other characters to the cute one and couldn't figure it out, might not have been in the right mode.

The cute and neutral medleys only have one changeable character.

Aw, oh well. I guess it's just praying for the RNG gods to give me a such a module for each character.

So far kinda underwhelming, but hoping for more good songs to make up for it. I'm really glad that the chained star notes are gone, and rush notes are meh but not a big deal. The module get animation is rather distracting.

Honestly, I like the song unlock structure here, even though it's bogged down a bit with the throwaway story dialogue. Having more control over which songs you want to play next plus extreme difficulty unlocked with hard are nice.

Ah, I did see you mention there was a story mode now. Knowing I'll be missing out on that doesn't really bother me.

thank you! I was wondering about the quests myself. I've been kind of disappointed with the direction this series has been heading in since Diva 2nd and maybe f, but I'm still looking forward to this one. They're holding it for me at the post office.

If you only care about the rhythm game aspect, it should be fine.

If you care about the whole present-giving stuff, there are times when they want a specific kind of item and you're not going to figure that out if you cannot read what they are saying.

The hardest thing you might find is adjusting the options for stars using sticks and no voice over lost if you get a bad or w/e. I know enough that I found these options immediately however.

My physical copy of the game finally arrived today. The microfiber towel is larger, more elaborately designed and thicker than the thumbnail on CD Japan led me to think. It's like a miniature comfort blanket for a Vita. I'm not even sure I want to take it out the plastic bag.

Missions seems to be just reach a score.

If we get this on Vita, probably digital at best. The PS4 version will probably see a physical release in the states.

Finally got my copy in. Apparently PA didn't have many Japanese editions, because I had to wait 'til the 29th when they got more stock of it in. :| Got here this morning though, so shipping was like... less than 48 hours. It's mind-blowing to look at International shipping, really.

Mixed:

Rush Notes aren't too bad? They fit better than Hold notes at times, Raspberry Monster being a good example
Unlocking stuff in random pack fashion is kind of cool, but I can see getting annoyed later on if I can't get a specific module

Dislike:

The PVs are laaaaame.
Mission mode isn't exactly the funnest thing, having to do the same song on Normal and Easy (and maybe more, idk) is something I've never liked. Even on my first Diva game I never touched Easy.

Praise the Start button, and it's allowance of skipping that weird light visual novel stuff

Eh, yeah they did. Just a bit odd to remove the points. It's also weird to reduce the bonus points on holds too, then give rush notes a gigantic bonus for hitting them.

Adding on to my list, I like the Medleys. Mixed on the note charts thus far, they really are easy. Like an 8 star here feels like a 7 in Fnd. I'm also mixed on no fanart for loading screens. Some of the art was really cool, though (placebo?) they seemed to speed up the loading this time around. Dislike, VERY MUCH DISLIKE, how bad Streaming Heart's PV is. Man I hope this whole "stage show" thing was just a one-off for the series.

Like the removal of linked stars. Dislike the removal of double stars.

Well missions start on Normal. You can get Hard and Extreme missions after getting enough points in a section. Some are tough (coughinvisiblenotescough)

Honestly I REALLY like the new scoring system. It feels less punishing than the old one. Clear+ is tricky on the harder difficulties and some missions.

I seriously don't get what's wrong with Sega Europe these days. PDF 2nd was announced for both territories at the same time. I know I am ranting a lot about it, but it seems to me as if Atlus has managed to convince their mother company that Europe doesn't exist. It's frustraring to say the least.
