smoked a little bit and

was thinking to myself, the concept of Digimon in each fictional universe, since it is multiple fictional universes, are kinda silicon-based life forms (since they were born on the computer), translated into organic-life forms once they reach our reality. Obviously, both Digimon and reapers are fictional creatures, but imagine in an alternative-universe, where in the ME word, the digital world was actually created, and Digimon coexisted with them.

In this same principle, Digimon are summoned as war assets against the reapers. I would assume some (but not all) Digimon could breathe in space, some may not stand a chance against the reapers, but it goes both ways.

But if it were just the reaper armada versus Digimon, who wins?

I actually don't know a gosh darn thing about digimon other than Renamon is hot and there's another one that looks like poop. I just did a search for 'strongest digimon' and came up with the above.

... Well, to be honest, the Royal Knights alone would a non-stop wrecking ball against the Reapers. An army of Megas akin to near the end of Tamers? The Reapers wouldn't stand a chance. Bring any number of 'Digidestined' into the mix and the Reapers are completely fucked. Did you see what Omnimon/Omegamon did to that gigantic army of Diablomon in Our War Game? That would be what happens to the Reapers in a nutshell, and Reapers don't have the luxury of being small or agile.

Well that's assuming everyone brought their A-game.

What I think is more likely to happen, assuming any of this 'likely to happen' at all, is that only a hand full of Megas from the Digidestined side would take part, and any greater armies would be mostly Champions and Ultimates.

Check out her mega evolution(sakuyamon), she goes from regular fox to foxy lady.

Digimon would obliterate them. Wargreymon throws spirit bombs, and hes not even the strongest mega.

no no no that's not what I was going for - in the "multiverse" of digimon, every iterating universe is its own thing, even though the original one with the digidestined is permanently referential to the rest but the concept is that each is its own universe, respective of each other. with their own canons.

i'm proposing another fictional canon, one that crosses over with the ME universe.
