Jeff Green plays Bloodborne - Bring out the Gimp!

Jeff beating Maria made my day! Now the real fight begins. OoK is going to break Jeff.
I've watched Jeff playing these game since his first Dark Souls stream and I've had at least half a dozen "this is it, no further! nice going so far but this is going to break him"-moments.

It's almost surreal that he has basically reached OoK now. And knowing that fight (it was the first Souls game boss fight that made me take a longer break), I once more have arrived at one of those moments... but we know how it turns out every single time.

Go Jeff! :D

This is worrying. Jeff's streams are a part of our common human cultural heritage, and have to be preserved for posterity. But surely these changes to exporting must be a huge issue in the Twitch community, someone's bound to have worked out a good way of getting streams onto YT?

As editor for his channel, previously I could press "upload to youtube" and it would just do it but now it wants me to log in to my youtube account and upload it there instead. I mean I could do that but I dunno.

It doesn't sound like a drastic change, but how much work is involved in this? It'd be a shame if there were gaps in the archives of Jeff's Bloodborne streams, or even worse if this was the end of the persistent archive.

It's just that the videos would be put on another channel, that's the only real difference. I could do it I suppose.

EDIT: Uploading Part 43 right now, let's see what happens.

Oh, now I see the problem. I don't know what your arrangement with Jeff looks like (and thanks for your service to the Greenhead community, BTW!), but do you think it would be too much trouble for him to log in to Youtube and upload it to his account himself?

I can't get anything to upload anywhere it seems, so unless you all bother Jeff to do it the YouTube dream is dead. Don't forget that I highlight every single stream completely so that Twitch still has a full archive going back to Dark Souls 1 with short clips from Black Mesa and I believe one LoL clip as well.

Oh, I didn't know that, that's great. Is there an upper limit on how many highlights a channel can have or could this go on indefinitely?

I miss when Jeff used to stream things other than the Bloodborne DLC such as the classic PC games. I need to buy a PS4 again so I can buy and play through the DLC.

Yeah he soloed him. The stream and the run.

Nice. He was pretty close to death in phase 2.

Edit: O.M.G .... watched further and what i just saw .... after i beat L i ran straigt up the staircase. Didn't know i could talk to him/his remainigs and get the MLS ...... big fail. Do i miss a Trophy without it? I'm somewhere deep in F Hamlet.

There's a trophy for getting all weapons. You can probably still go talk to/kill him.

It should be possible to manually download the videos and upload them to YT, but that's a lot of effort.

The final (?) Bloodborne livestream shall commence promptly (?) at 2:00 Pacific. Off to do my warmup exercises to the Rocky theme.

Awesome. Can't wait. No alcohol today though. I learned my lesson a few weeks ago when I foolishly tried to do a shot per death, not remembering he was right outside Maria's room. Didn't make it 10 minutes before giving up.

Yeah, right.

I wonder if he's just gonna skip the rest of the DLC (which would be a shame) to get to DS3 at release.

Or maybe he'll prove me wrong and kick some ass.

edit: 15 minute delay btw.

What is left? I thought he was at the last boss of the dlc. Guess I need to get around to playing it.

Orphan of Kos is basically the final boss of the DLC. Laurence is the
fiery beast chilling in the first area
and pretty tricky to unlock.

Well that's a bummer. He probably would have had Gehrman if it wasn't for that bs wind attack.

We need to remind him to get back to BB when he finishes DS3 in 2017. Laurence or riot.

So Jeff just tweeted that he's moving onto DS3 without finishing Bloodborne. I think Jeff should finish Bloodborne first. At the rate that Jeff plays these games, its not like he's exploring the game for the first time along with everyone else.

Yea I agree, it just keeps piling up otherwise, he also still has DS2 DLC to finish. Also he will be completely out of it after not playing for so long. Would take him months to finish up the bosses because he forgot how to play Bloodborne because he's used to DS3 by then again.

And I want to play Dark Souls 3 myself before I watch streamers, so it would be nice for that too.

He said on yesterday's stream that he wants to be part of the zeitgeist, and who can blame him, really? I think the proper strategy here is probably for him to go back to the final Bloodborne bosses when he runs into points in DS3 where he's just banging his head against a wall and needs to shake it up a bit. I think that could work, and I'm sure there will be plenty such opportunities. :p

I'd like to see him beat these bosses, but these could be 3 or 4 stream bosses. Jeff may need to level up his equipment and farm echoes and yadda yadda with the junctionable gem things and oooy.

If Jeff is ready to move forward, that's cool.
He's already proven he can conquer anything he comes up against in these games. The score is like Jeff 100, impossible to beat bosses (but still mostly beaten) 2.

Having just finished those DLCs, I'd say it's not worth going back to that. I'd rather watch him play a different game.

Just watched it there. I can't believe it broke him!
Fair enough though, time for DS3. Hopefully he goes back and finishes it some day

It was hard to watch it last night, orphan can be really aggravating. It's disappointing that he's not going to finish it, not because I want to watch it but I think he should get "closure". I hope he finishes it in his own time.

He had over 400 viewers last night, but I wonder how many people will watch his first DS3 streams. I know I won't, obviously because I don't want to have anything spoiled. I might have to catch up on 3 or 4 streams after I beat it.

I haven't had a chance to buy the Bloodborne DLC yet, so I (personally) look forward to being able to watch him again for once.

I feel pretty confident that I can watch the first stream and not have anything spoiled :]

I can't believe this lol

I rather watch him summon all day and finish the game than not finishing it.

fume boss would have been hilarious.

That motherf#&#$r Kos definitely broke me yesterday. But I'm not done with Bloodborne, because I WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED! Well, no, actually I've been defeated thousands of times. But I will not give up!

I am gonna go ahead and start DS3, but as I mentioned on the stream, I'll keep going at Bloodborne, especially for those who don't want any DS3 spoilers (not that I'm gonna be speedrunning through that game....)

Glad to hear that. I think the style of play between the games are different enough that you won't get burned out alternating.

Great job, Jeff! I'm playing through Bloodborne for the first time and Orphan of Kos gave a tough time as well. In general, I wasn't the biggest fan of the DLC bosses, as they all seemed to be incredibly aggressive and have enormous reach for their attacks. And Orphan of Kos in particular has insane tracking on his attacks, which can be infuriating. But defeating them gives such a high!

I hope to see you back playing Bloodborne soon enough. I'm not planning on picking up Dark Souls III on release but I'll definitely check out your streams (I've never played a DS game before and I don't want to burn myself out on Soulsborne games, especially since I'm still working my way through Bloodborne).
