New Red Dead Map Leaked?

The map looks fake as shit. The map we put together on GTAForums was more detailed than this. There are three glaringly obvious facts that this map is fake.
1) Apparently it's an early "build/Devs" map, usually used to hide the fact that it's been made by an amateur and any mistakes can be brushed off as "it's an early build bruh" excuse.
Look at the logo in the bottom left of the map, (they forgot to photoshop out the pic) it has a picture of what looks like an elk, I cannot find any similar pictures anywhere else. Oh but look, the original Tall Trees area has the elk... The excuse has to be "we can only hunt elk bru".
Also look at the red outline around the map and then look at the line just below Black Water, it's clearly been eraser tooled away... How come the rest of the map boundary outline is consistent but then miraculously goes tits up at that point? The point where this supposed new map meets a section of RDR's map? A section that has clearly been photoshopped.
The seemingly stupid mistake of a cross reference to Mafia 3 just kills any credibility for me, we didn't only just find out the name of Mafia 3's city. It was always known.
Sorry but I spent too much time on GTAForums staring at "insiders maps". There's loads of mistakes that scream fake. This guy should be banned just for not looking at the map he was "given"/ being blind.
Edit: The more I look, the more inconsistencies I see. The whole bottom right section of the map boundary is a mirror image... Rockstar getting lazy man...
Edit 2: Look at the O9 & O10 boxes. LOL.
Edit 3: Why are there coloured dots outside the boundary below Tall Trees? Green dot means town and there are two of them in a place we cannot reach...

Looks fake as hell, and I can't imagine an "early dev map" being created with such detail, yet in such an ugly way. Like, they'd make fake mountain ranges on the map, outlining topography (which would take a long time, lots of effort, and a good tool), but then also outline everything in messy pink and yellow lines...?
Still, I think it'd be cool if the map were centered on the gulf of mexico, with Blackwater to the west, New Orleans to the right, and this would get me excited... But, this seems pretty fake.

Looking at it for a second longer, this is definitely fake. If you look at the region surrounding the top of the map, the brown parts still have topography defined on the map. Yet if you look at the region in the bottom right, the brown parts, it's just solid brown with no topography. Further, that island structure in the bottom right, as another poster mentioned, is just a mirror of itself...

Pretty sure your Elk is Nekoti Rock bru.
Borders and water are scrappy no question, but it's no better on the old section, there's even a stray brush dot on the west side or looks like it.
I'm on the fence, it's obviously not meant to be seen as a release quality map for players, even played off as fake. Definite scrawled over many layers in photoshop feel to it.

It seems like he's actually telling us it's fake, being that it's actually fake.

I don't think they're technically able because ex-Rockstar members have talked in the past how the engine for the game barely held together and was a miracle the game made it out the door. lol
I find it odd though that nothing official has still come of the Xbox One BC version given the accidental early access 2 months ago...

It doesn't make geographical sense for New Bordeaux to be based on New Orleans since Great Plains is based on Colorado, which is much further south than New Bordeaux.

There is absolutely no way they couldn't do it. It CAN be done. What they would probably do is transfer the assests over to the current gen version of the Rage engine.
That's honestly my biggest concern with RDR2. We'll probably get a solid-to-stellar single player and an online mode similar to GTAV, complete with whatever the equivalent of shark cards they come up with for the RDR era.
I doubt we'll ever see another DLC with the quality of Undead Nightmare. Absolutely loved that.
