Not as unflattering as the bumper had hoped. Release version looks great - I prefer its IQ to that of the demo.

It's not be same scene. That teaser isn't in the game due to how the story structure plays out.

I mean the retail version looks great, however I truly wonder if that scene could really hit 60 if the framerate had been unlocked.
Guess we'll never know if Naughty Dog was honest on the initial reveal really running on 1080p60, I mean not that I don't believe in Naughty Dog's capabilities but I still find it hard to believe that it ever really did.

Every scene in the game went through many changes. Same with practically every scene in every game ever made.

I didn't create the comparison, so you can take up the complaints of 'tilting' with the creator.
In the interest of fairness, I regrabbed the top screen from Gamersyde footage. Definitely a lot more detail, but I still think the conclusion is the same: they compare very favorably, and outside of framerate it's hard to say any downgrade is clear.

Whether realtime or not, I guess the moral of the story is you shouldn't show something that is not going to appear in the final game. We had this happen with Killzone and Motostorm, Watchdogs and my fear is even the new Zelda will not look like what was originally shown because the "story" changed. We won't see Link flying through the air off his horse.
It is obvious that this bit was never designed to be in the game and more like a teaser. Since it never appeared in the game, it was never a game level as we were led to believe by Naughty Dog. It was developed in isolation. For Naughty Dog it doesn't matter, but developers need to stop this.

Yw? I hope you also blocked the poster who bumped this thread when he compared psx demo to the e3 trailer stating there were downgrades to the IQ and hair. Sorry I'm a little salty for expecting the final game to have the same IQ as the teaser which was stated in the op to be real time?

It looks better due to a superior skin shader and not the plastic doll look.

So your bump was just to try and take Uncharted down a notch or something? Even though reviewers are nearly unanimously gushing over the graphics calling it one of the best looking games they've ever seen?

Still so so so very disappointing they couldn't get it to run at 60fps 1080. This tease though, damn I wanted that 60fps so bad.

Crazy impressive, there's a lot we can't make from the bottom picture since it's too dark, but the character details is still insanely high and the skin shaders and hair actually improved quite a bit.
