Don't you choose a language when you start up a 3DS Pokémon game? He could have an NA 3DS and chosen Japanese when he started the game.

They weren't doing anything new or interesting with it and you could see them working their way up to this in Lumiose and Mauville in OR/AS.

If they can't hit a steady framerate with a static camera the least they could do is try to keep up with their competition.

Not really an argument in favor of grids when R/S/E was one of the last compelling and non-railroaded grid overworlds we had. If the transition to 3D somehow makes it boring, it's a good thing they're trying something new.

It's been a good bit since I've liked all 3 starters. Litten will be my first pick and actually the first time I pick a fire starter first since Gen 2. The water type is different but I can see some awesome evolution ideas. Litten though is freakin great. Might be Fire/Dark after evolution?

Can't believe they dropped the Chibi style, though. Everything in the world is now proportionate.

Also Hawaii is a great pick, and I'm glad it's not Europe.

From the looks of the male trainer customization is definitely in, that boy is as generic as last gens.

Honestly not sure which version I want. I actually like Moons legend a lot. Guess it'll be down to the exclusive Pokemon.
