Yeah he is a bitch. I used poison and paralyze. Took me 4 tries though.
I am leveling up Rizer and Shantotto for this now

If you have Biggs use him instead. His Poison Blaster procs better.

Also i didnt know you cant use Friend Leaders against the White Dragon...Yikes...not anytime soon for me heh.
Considering how little content the game has so far and that it might take 2-3 weeks until the official launch- dont know if its the best idea to beat one of the few interesting/challenging goals this way.
If you cheat him, you can fight him again after, but you need an emulator to do it and I don't know where to get those so lol, legit way for me

I was surprised that nobody was talking about this boss. Talk about a ramp up of difficulty out of absolutely nowhere. I was just casually defending/stealing from every enemy up to this point, even the bosses, and then I ran into this guy and he killed my healer from full HP in a single round with some triple attack crit BS. Looks like I'll have to actually use some strategy here, next time I fight him. But for now....
...yea, I'll be using all my Colosseum orbs for a good while trying to steal Heaven's Ash. I ran an entire day's worth of NRG on the INT/ADV awakening vortex yesterday and got 1 single Ash. 1 out of over 100 NRG. What a bunch of BS. Worst part is, I have 2 more units that need 10 Ash after I awaken Cecil. It should be illegal to have Esper Crysts and High Quality parts drop out of any Awakening dungeon other than Beginner. I had an INT run where i literally only got 3 of each of them, and no other drops.

I just swapped out Fran for Eldin at the moment. He's weak, but stealstealsteal.
Also, no awakening dungeon for me today, already unlocked experience since I had all the mats to awaken Kain.
God dammit. I accidently hit Auto twice, no heal and died with him at 10 Percent...
Obviously what ever you need, it wont drop. My Vaan needs many Earth Cores, havent got single today (in 14h time). I have plenty of FP & HA & DSB but I dont have ECs.

I got this guy to a silver of health and I just needed one hit from my blind Kain to finish him off and Kain missed freaking five turns in a row and died. Almost threw my tablet to the wall.

Original FFBE character. She has pretty high attack power when she's unarmed because of the trait that gives her +50% attack when unarmed. However, that makes it hard to really power up her attack without a good weapon like her Trust Master reward.
Her Trust Master reward, the Kaiser Knuckle, is the strongest H2H weapon in the game currently, I think.

I am now at rank S1. Its getting harder and harder.
HOLY SHIT - you guys werent kidding...the evo materials are really rare in this game - didnt expect that i would have to farm for days just to evolve a single unit from 3* to 4* lol. Spend most of the day with Awakening Material Vortex INT and didnt get a single Heavens Ash.
I will be honest thats quite the Buzzkill if those are standard drop rates - yikes.
Okay thats good - at least you still have the Challenge for once you are ready, thought he would vanish this was as well.

Doesn't the dragon cost AP to rebattle after defeating him or am I misremembering something I read before? If so, does this also apply to those who glitch their way to the blade?

Visceir can back me up on this but I think that most mats that we need now are available en masse on the second island.
Thanks, figured I had to replay the beginning and reobtain the 500 lapis.
Did it for a few hours so far, nothing but fails. Did get a four star Maria and space pirate chick. Rest were three stars.
Thats cool and but i dont get whats the point of having dedicated Vortex farming stages when the drop rate is so low. I would rather have the make the dungeons a bit tougher and increase the drop rate...feels like quite the Oldschool f2p design expecting 100 runs for a single item drop.

The star ratings (and thus, blue / gold summon crystals) aren't THAT important. Many of us got top tier units at 3 stars from a blue crystal. It just means a little extra time ranking them up. But, it's not like we are pressed for time atm, with the little content we have >_>.

Wew, finally got Cecil's awakening mats done, and he and my Terra are both 5* now. I decided rather than try to get his level up today, I'm going to continue grinding Advanced Awakening dungeon to try to get the rest of the materials I need to get Roselia, Zidane, and Bartz's awakening materials done. That way I can XP dungeon the rest of the time to max them all out.
Part of me wants to wait until the next island is released, but honestly what else do we have to do until then anyways. C'mon Heaven's Ash, just 10 more please.

And thats good. Cause man Earth's Core cant be this rare compared to other rare stuff I have.

I think this game knows what you need cause it teases me with the items I need then just stops giving me them and gives me an abundance everything else

They'll get less rare as you do the story and events. You just kind of naturally gain a ton of them, lol.
