Any reviews?
I'm surprised it actually came out on GOG. I'll pick the game up if it's good, but with such an out there concept, I want to wait for some more impressions.
I think the secret is to not really think about dialogue options in a 'pick from these choices' sense and more of a broad 'you are the master of mood' sense. Your point of agency is in the drinks you sell and how good or shitty of a bartender you are, basically. Plenty of branches definitely exist, the break-points are just harder to spot. If it means anything, I've replayed the game up to the middle of Day 2 about twice with different order permutations and I've already seen a lot of differences and a surprising amount of reaching back to previous conversations.Just hit Day 3. Really love the setting of this game. Gorgeous style and fantastic soundtrack. Figuring out the drinks is fun too. Some teasers but nothing crazy so far. My issue with the game is that it lacks involvement with the patrons. I thought you would have dialogue options that can go different ways. The lack of time constraints on the Drink Mixing also makes it a little too easy.
I am early on so the latter might change, just wish I had more control in Jill's responses. Regardless, definitely having a good time with it.
Argh.
Day 3, post-break spoilers:What the hell does Alma want to drink? The drink is named after the creator's friend, but that tells me nothing!

I gave it a 9.5Any reviews?
Kill Screen probably wrote my favourite review so far. These cryptic puzzles are only going to get harder. So remember who loves what drink and any conversation about a drink in particular.
I gave it a 9.5
CGMagOnline gave it a 10 (a much more in-depth review imo)
I don't know anyone else that looked at it.
A couple cute references. They exist in the same universe but separated by a long enough period of time that there's no real connections if you weren't paying attention. So, quick question, without spoilers hopefully:
Does Read Only Memories actually have any crossover into this game? I remember reading the game was in the same universe, and i'm curious if they did much with that at all.
You don't... really need to. There's some stuff that it references but there's almost nothing that relevant to the history that exists between most of the characters that you need to know.So I just bought this on Steam but you apparently need to play the Prologue which it doesn't come with -_-
Has it released on the humble store?
I'd like to use my 10% discount.

Maybe something comes up later, but I actually can't think of anything in the Prologue that could be 'integral' to the game. The special pre-launch demo is probably more relevant as far as that sort of thing goes, though admittedly I don't think that's packaged with the game. And even then I don't think you learn anything there that isn't immediately self-evident.
Dammit, so even though I preordered the game way back when from their .io page and never got a chance to play the prologue it's now unavailable forever and I will never get a chance too? I hate missing stuff like this. Really gets under the skin. Hopefully they make it available for people who backed them all that time ago.
Just served my first customer
This game seems really good
If you had it before, the prologue is now back on your itch.io page. I believe it's also going to be added to Steam but I'm not sure if they'll charge extra for it.
Finished day 1, I'll pick it back up once I'm done with work. Love the artstyle and music. Mixing the drinks is kind of a slow/annoying process on my laptop's trackpad, otherwise no complaints thus far.
Don't get those anime girls too drunk, now. I'm watching you, buster.

How do u make drinks "big?" i thought its just adding more of the bottom right one but i find doing that messes up the drink? I think im missing something. Do i multiply all the ingredients (but what if the amount of the drink is already 6/10?)

Has anyone who bought the prologue through Humble Bundle gotten their keys yet?
Double the ingredients. If the drink already has more than 10 components then it's already a "big" drink
If the full game is anything like the prologue/demo, every command has a keyboard shortcut.
Wait, how is this and ROM connected? They're not from the same dev
Same universe. No direct connections, though.
