Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

Lol poor Ajna about to be eaten in that tree sketch.

Hey Rav, would I be possible to give some further thoughts about the monster designs in future updates? Things like inspirations, design intent etc. I would love to just know a little bit more about you guys' thought processes in designing monsters, characters and other aspects of the game

Since this thread is bumped, just wanted to say the in the demo, the play time counter went up even if the PS4 was in sleep mode, so I hope yall can fix it before release. Yall probably already knew that but just wanted to make sure since I take my stats very seriously XD.

I look forward to the final game!

Awesome update, and like Hades Hotgun said, I also enjoy putting faces to the games I play.

The team members and the environment as a whole at Lab Zero looks super fun and relaxed, I'm surprised you can get any work done! Maybe it's because of that relaxed environment that everyone enjoys themselves and works that much harder though. Eric K noting that the backgrounds weren't satisfactory was really interesting to hear, because I definitely felt like it was the most rough around the edges part of the demo. It gives me confidence to hear that same sentiment directly from a member of team!

Keep up the great work Lab Zero!

I dug the move out time lapse (did you have that planned all along?)

That was the plan I came up with, yeah.

I had hoped to mirror it with the move-in, but was just too hard to schedule the video grapher and everything was coming in at different times so it just wasn't possible.

You guys have a talent powerhouse now and that new engine looks great. I can't wait to see more footage in the new engine. Hopefully you guys can share some sneak peeks at new in game locations in the near future.

And the new gameplay and engine footage is hot hot hot.

While the environment isn't as lively as we would've liked it to be, I feel like the shadows and antialiasing add so much to the environments that we'd probably had many fewer complaints about the environment if those features were in the prototype.

Pretty sure the next update will feature a new area in the game!

@Robert Thomas backstory: I wasn't aware that "Work for the Company" was a tier you could pledge for on the IGG campaign LOL.

I'm guessing Will and Chris Ko weren't around. Anyway thanks for keeping us up to date as usual. Looks like a very strong team (though I guess I'm not telling you anything you don't already know :p). I also like the progress the game is making :)

Willy and Chris were around, but had crippling camera shyness and asked not to be in it.

3 Questions:

1. Will you be able to film the Q&A and upload it to YouTube or even stream it on twitch? I think this will be great for people outside the US who likely can't make it to AX.

2. Can you send in questions via twitter or something of the sort?

3. Will you finally be able to announce the anime studio working on the opening cutscene or are they still playing coy?

1. We're going to look into this, but the last time we tried it didn't turn out well. At the very least, though, we expect to have someone live-tweeting things.

2. I'll see if we can work something like that out, but monitoring Twitter while trying to run a panel is hard. So we'd probably need someone to read those and pass those on.

3. We've been really pushing to get this to an announceable state in time for AX, but unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen.

What about live streaming via Facebook on your page? Would spread the word faster I think. It "looks" easy enough.

Also that anime company better be something amazing. =P

They have been so hush hush about it....

That second pic is gorgeous

Love how vibrant and beautiful the top of it is contrast with the spookier bottom.

10/10 would make 2nd and 3rd desktop background with a bigger version

Don't think there's anything particularly spoiler-y about this?

Just one of many places you'll be exploring in the game.

don't worry about me, keep doing updates, I'm only talking about whenever I'm going to play it that I'm going in fresh without knowing about levels and stuff

We're trying to be very careful about spoilers, while also still showing progress.

So as a general rule, if it's in an update, it means the team doesn't think it's too spoiler-y.

That's why we had to stop streaming Mike's work on Ajna's moveset - the later actions' animations would all be considered very spoiler-y.

Now that is a beautiful setting right there. Can't wait until next year when there will be lots more sections of the game that are playable and watchable.

I suppose the fact that the place seems to be held aloft by rockets is pretty notable.
Though I suppose some of the character designs indicated we'd be looking at things more advanced than swords and sorcery

Looks great.

Freaked out a little checking my contribution thinking that somehow I messed up and didn't go for the physical copy when I thought I did..The $15 shipping cost made me think I opted for the Well-Wisher digital instead of Contributor physical.

It's what, 6 months in? Did we ever find out the mystery studio or is that still being worked out/a secret, I recall something about them wanting to stay anonymous for now.

Still not able to announce the anime studio yet, unfortunately.

Really tried to push them to get this sorted so we could announce it at Anime Expo, but that won't be happening.
