Never saw much of Love but McNair ain't a bad player came across as level headed lad too which is nice to see, best of luck to them both.

Probably Friday morning at the latest. I still need to update the teams in the OT and I've been super busy lately.

Thread title ideas would be nice, I'm terrible at those things as you can tell.

I also have no idea.

I'm really happy that we won the UEFA Super Cup but I'm furious I couldn't get to see the games. Fucking streams.

Fabulous goal by Assensio. I really believe in this lad, and I'm so excited to see him this season. Sergio Ramos is deadly once again, and what a nice run by Carvajal. I'm really proud of our Spanish players, Lucas Vasquez included.

According to twitter, bets are suspended on Benteke to Palace, and Sky Bet are supposedly already paying out for that transfer.

Great news if so, we're finally getting paid for our yearly beatings from Palace. Wish him the best though, seems like a nice guy and I think he'll justify the price in a team that suits him much more than we did.

Really? Is this guy a significant upgrade on Giroud? He scored 6 goals in 36 league games for Man City.

Probably not. Never clicked at City but if he finds his Swansea form then he would be a big upgrade. I find him beyond frustrating to watch; slow turns, too many touches, poor finishing, plays too deep, doesn't move enough, and doesn't have a rhythm with any of the other City players.

According to ''FNPFRANCE'' on Twitter, Crystal Palace agreed on a fee for Utrecht and France U-21 striker Sebastien Haller.

Seems like we're chasing everything with two feets who want to score goals now. :)

I feel like a bad football supporter, now that I'm actually optimistic about the season. But of course Palace wouldn't be Palace if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot and act suprised over it, at least once per season, so let's see how we do it this time.

Zidane said Asensio is staying at Real Madrid and will not be out on loan again (Porto was a likely destination).

That makes it highly unlikely they keep both Isco and James. I bet Zidane wants Isco and Florentino wants James and as always Florentino will decide. Kovacic is probably on his way out as well if they bring another holding midfielder to compete with Casemiro.

Also Portuguese and Spanish newspapers are saying Inter increased their offer for João Mario to €50M. Highly doubtful but if true I can't see why Sporting wouldn't sell at that price.

Exactly this. Zidane doesn't seem to like James at all but he is Perez's buy. The latest reports is that Kovacic is staying. Although I think he is on his way out too.

Is Odegaard still alive?

Has he won the Ballon Doro yet?
Apparently he is close to joining an English club.

Van der Vaart to Midgetland. Looks absolutely delighted with the move.

Can't wait to see him spray those balls around. Thankfully we already played Midgetland last week.

Time for Wenger to bring Robson-Kanu home.

Still can't believe no one's come in for him yet
.How do I get this in the UK?

Really?

Any Football League fan will tell you he's average, at best. He had a couple of decent games at the Euros, that's about it.

He'll probably end up at Hull or some other shit and do absolutely nothing.

Doing well at an international tournament usually leaves players with a dozen suitors, doesn't mean they deserve it, see: Arshavin and James

I'd quite like to see Wenger give Akpom a chance if he isn't going to sign a striker. He's had a good pre-season and seems high on confidence. Plus he has played alongside Iwobi through the various age groups.

Walcott doesn't deserve a spot up front, and I don't think Sanchez really works there.

Arshavin and James had a much bigger body of work than Robson-Kanu, they just had a coming out party on an international level but they already were good at their current/past clubs. Robson-Kanu is nowhere near worthy of being in the same conversation as those guys.

In fact the Robson-Kanu hoopla reminds me how so many people were baffled that Ochoa wasn't signed by a top team following the 2014 World Cup. "He's going to be one of the greatest, look at all those saves on the biggest stage". Signs with Malaga, ends up spending most games on the bench because Kameni is much better than him.

Thankfully in the era of the internet and advance scouting teams stopped purchasing players based on a 2 week performance in a special environment. If not there would be 15 Iceland players in every major league right now.

Walcott doesn't deserve a spot in the starting 11 never mind playing up front but yeah i do think Akpom should be giving a chance if you can't bring a striker.

Really happy with Everton Williams signing.

Since it most likely means they won't pursue the mighty Scott Dann. :)

How are Swansea doing this transfer window? Williams and Ayew are heavy losses, although Llorente should do better then Gomis did last season.
