Cause she's a pretty cool person outside of her political ideology. Fellow film buff, also born in Pittsburgh, Huge fan of Steelers/Pirates/Penguins, Hip Hop head, etc. Maybe the political stuff will throw a wrench in everything, but I'd rather give it a go then just assume there's no chance at a connection.

tbh I dont know if it is or it isnt because it seems like we only have one picture to go off of, but I dont think it's right to just try and shut down the conversation when a minority is saying that something feels like its racist to them. At the very least try and understand why they feel that way before you attempt to push your opinion...
If James Carville can find true love with Mary Matalin, then anything's possible bruh! And I'm pretty much diametrically opposed to the policies of McCain and Jeb Bush - and the Republican party in general - but it's not like she's supporting Trump or Ted Cruz. They're at least somewhat closer to the middle, and from what I can tell - she's socially more progressive than the party at large. We'll see though. The drinks may bring out the fuckery and I'll have to bail.

That's my stance as well. Whether it's racist to us or not is irrelevant because we're not Asian. I'm just annoyed by the people that keep trying to tell minority GAFfers that their opinion on racism is moot. I'm tired of that attitude altogether.
