Mind spoiling a few achievements for me?

spoiler warning for people who care about story stuff
Is the Antidote for Miller something easy to miss?

also this

Spokes in Two Wheels: You managed to stop both the bombing & the Orchid poisoning. You’re a living legend!

You see this is what I am talking about this game, I didn't even know something like that was possible. (I didn't spoiler tag it because I want people to know there are things that you don't even realise).

For your 2nd question I've only played it once but I imagine that if you go after the Versalife heist then they don't get the orchid, I'm not sure what happens exactly because I didn't go after them. Instead I went for the bomb maker who gave me a signal jammer. I think there are various ways things could play out in the last level, you could get the signal jammer and go for the rich guy but get spotted which means the main baddie gives you a call and asks you to come around. Or maybe you take too long to get to the rich guy and you get a call by the baddie to meet him. After this you can choose to ignore and make your way anyways but it could be that you are late and the main baddie uses the bomb..etc etc. infact the baddie can give you a call while you are trying to neutralise guards silently which is even before you meet Miller (that happened to me once and I reloaded). I don't know how many permutations are possible but I did manage to stop the bomb and the orchid poisoning.

It is fairly difficult to achieve as I had to reload my game a LOT and also rush on my way back to the exhibition room

There are probably a lot of permutations when it comes to how the story plays out and you won't even realise that you've missed something even if you do.

Judging by the overarching gripe of many reviews, OT: Game Divided. Still very excited about playing, not too excited about the 6pm unlock time tomorrow :(

Some guy before said the game was too short at like 11 hours. So how long is this game?

I don't know if I am willing to play the game anymore with all these quotes about shitty story and cut content to make us buy new game. Is this what DX is nowadays? I wonder what Warren Spector thinks about this.

What? Didn't this bs get debunked on several pages in past 12-24h?

Alright then don't play it. Too much snarky bullshit and "pre-order cancelled" in this thread. The game is going to be good, no one cares if you want to cancel.

It's the same for other Deus Ex games as well.
Game is not short...but ofcourse you can finish it in 12 hours if you rush through avoiding most encounters, don't spend time reading, hacking anything and killing everyone if need be.

Most people who play Deus Ex ghost an area by figuring out alternative paths then they stumble across other paths and explore them to find additional paths that they could have taken, in the process they also hack and read everything. That's how I played it and it took me 23 hours, already mentioned in my impressions in last page.

So for anyone who has purchased a Square Enix PS4 title digitally...how do you get a registration code? Do you get one emailed to you when the game goes "live"?

Just reading about how to get the Day One content and bonuses, apparently you have to register your copy via the code in the case on Squeenix's website to then get a email for everything but uh...how does that work for digital copies? lol

It's weird as shit. They should just give us PSn codes but they give us a square code to register the game and then say that "follow the instructions to get the PSN code" except there are no instructions. I still haven;t received any PSN code from Square.

Well, there it is.

Media Markt has - as always - broken their street date and I was able to buy the Day One edition for 45 €. The steelbook is sexy af btw.
It comes on three discs, but Steam doesn't let me install until it's unlocked in Germany, lol

They always are. :( Ah well.

I wonder how I'm supposed to get that stuff with my PS4 digital deluxe copy?

I have the PS4 version as well. You should check the leaflet inside, it has instructions on how to register your game to your Square Enix account. Because you need a Square Enix account, register the game on the site with the code on the leaflet.

edit: shit, didn't see you had a digital copy. I'm not sure how this'll work. I assume you link your copy to your Square Enix account via the main menu?

Thoughts on the digital book collection? Meaty or no?

The comic ties into the prologue mission of the main game. It's okay. The novelle is 44 pages and comes in pdf, epub, mobi, apple and kindle version. Wide support of e-readers. The mini artbook is only 27 pages but it's a huge 215 mb-file that even manages to chuck my PC when trying to scroll through it. I can't properly read it.

I'm just wondering how that works for us digital owners though since I don't have a physical case or manual to get a code from, I'm wondering then how I'm supposed to register the game to get that content. =/

I was just making sure, no need to be a fucking snarky dick about it.

Given their post on the previous page or two calling us 'bitches' and telling us to read a particular review like it's the 'only one that matters', I think they're just wired the wrong way.

I think you looked at it the wrong way, I don't think he was being snarky. "How is it even a question?" is just a rhetorical way to say "ofcourse".

Douchebag. Yes, me.
Can anyone who has played the PS4 SKU tell me how long the loading times are when loading a save game from in-game (after death, for instance)

Took me about 13 hours and I did a lot of side missions. I didnt even rush through the game and always looked out for any items to pick up and found several alternate routes

I don't think that's possible to do it in 13 hours if you also spent time reading, hacking and going to areas that have nothing to do with story but have loots. You may also have missed a fair amount of side quests without even realising it even if you did most of the ones that you did get. Also some optional objectives sort of extend the mission length. But it is possible to do a lot in 13 hours if you follow alternate paths to avoid encounters and also aren't reserved about shooting everyone in the room if things go bad.

I don't know if you would know this, but is the novella an excerpt from the book that comes out tomorrow, or its' own separate thing?

Well I did did in about 13 hours. There are a lot of newspapers/ebooks to pick up that I did not read at all as they are long and most of the emails on laptops too. I also did plenty of hacking to get into some doors and loot, not a lot though as my hacking level was only lvl 3. I did find a few alternative routes and did plenty of stealth and only really got into gunfire if I was spotted which happened a handful of times

Got my copy and put a few hours in. I'm enjoying it immensely. Feels great being back in this world after so long.

Still taking OT suggestions?

It's tomorrow sadly. 5pm UK release time is just ridiculous.

Nah, either go with your original title or go with something else. :)

I'm throwing out there Deus Ex: Mankind Divided |OT| Can't Kill Progress just because it seems like a worthy follow up to Human Revolution given the GAF impressions and reviews.
I like this one.

Its own separe thing, it seems. The novella is called "Hard Line", and according to a blurb:

A brand-new official Deus Ex novella, bridging events between Deus Ex: Black Light and the brand-new game Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I think you are referring to the book Black Light. Both that book and this one are written by James Swallow.
