Can anyone confirm if this is working on Windows 10 now? When I tried to play the demo a few months ago, the game kept crashing

Wouldn't the demo be ancient by now? Very few get updated, so I don't think that's representative of the final product.

Given the fan community around the game even if this new version didn't work on Win 10, someone would find a workaround.

Will check in a bit though.

This is like a work of art. I am feeling shame right now.

I finished up The Turing Test. Pretty game, puzzles are interesting but fair. IMHO the story didn't really pay off.

That Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is pretty sweet: cheevos, cards, improvements?
I especially like these
larger camera distance and scaleable UI size
Improved performance

a tad suspicious about complete balance rework, though

thanks Nordic!

Can't forget about this little gem Sierra published ;)

Can't forget about that one hah.

Finally finished. Yes I have her on the floor for right now. We are waiting for the upstairs flooring to be finished before I move it to my office.

Ran Doom at 1440p @ 144fps and the CPU and GPU stayed at 30C. I'm going g to try some over clocking today.

That looks very neatly put together. Congrats on the new hardware.

Found a old key of Titan Quest lying around, not 100% sure if it works but might be some help for someone to maybe get the new version.

I am interested in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, which is an adaptation of the most famous (or so I heard) choose-your-own-adventure book. The game is more or less Hand of Fate or Sorcery.

The game looks super cool, has achievements, several characters and good difficulty to given an incentive for replayability. But it costs $20 and there is a shady talk about an upcoming DLC (if true).

First Battle.net and now Battlefield? Will this battle attack never end?

Regardless of what's going on, my wild guess is that the OP's "quotes" are heavily paraphrased at best. Like, someone lower in the link mentions that the OP is being inaccurate.

I'd wait for independant verification before jumping aboard the erreteer hysterics train.

Looks like the latest beta client has some issues on my end at least. Steam doesn't start anymore after that update.

FYI, if you have the same issue, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\package\ (or wherever your Steam is installed) folder and delete the file called "beta".

It will put you back on the stable branch next time you start the client.

I would be dubious about that DLC post about Firetop. He claims it is in a backer only update, but as far as I can see they don't have any backer only updates. You're not able to read them as a non-backer, but you should at least be able to see the topic headline and a notice it is backer only.

That desert map for the Battlefield 1 beta is so bad. There is just no consistency with it at all.

So much empty space so everyone is just running around like sitting ducks.

So many camping/sniping spots

Soldiers on horses just run all over the place and nobody seems to be able to take them down. Like literally you can jump on a horse and run all the way to the far enemy base and back without taking a hit. Its so silly lol

Tanks are overpowered as hell.

______

Despite the shit map its still very fun. The map they showed at E3 seemed to be so much better tho. That area looked more like a warzone. This map looks like something they took from Battlefront and doctored it up for ww1 feel.

Feels like reskinned Battlefront, I agree...

What an awful trailer. Is random people i've never seen throwing plasticswords and making funny faces* supposed to sell me on the game?

*I'm not even being reductive, this is literally everything in the tailer

The... hell was that? THAT WAS TERRIBLE.

Maybe its directed at the Japanese? As far as JRPGs games are concerned, this is quite the weird feature, so the video repeats it again and again for people to understand. 1. Take sword 2. Throw Sword 3. Hang precariously in the air

I think the whole warp strike mechanic and hang there to recharge MP is just a the dumbest thing ever. Doesn't help that in both demos it doesn't control very well.

Mark my words FFXV is gonna take the bad combat crown from Witcher 3. People are going to go "Witcher 3 was amazing with its combat compared to this"

I played two FF XV demos and when there's more than one enemy on the screen is impossible to understand what's going on. I challenge you to make the evade move work against three random goblins. Plus the warp as you wrote half the time doesn't even work.

Should I buy Renowned Explorers at 60% off? Heard good things about the game in that TB game of the year video and this is the cheapest it has been, apart from the humble monthly, though it seems that the expansion adds a lot so that would be about 12 euros in total. Is it worth it at that price?

This guy is selling it for $2 if you're interested. Picking up the DLC will make it the exact same price it is on steam for the base game alone.

Spent a whole hour making 2 bullets in God Eater Resurrection, I'M REALLY FEELING IT NOW.

Yeah, it really takes a while until you get the hang of it. I haven't made much myself yet, just a laser that explodes on impact and a point-blank bomb that always hit me as well, lol.
Need to experiment some more.

The base game is easily worth it. It's a great game with enormous replayability. I played it for about 200 hours, so yeah, I'd recommend it ;)

The expansion is not unconditionally worth it, IMO. The new gameplay mechanic (campfires) basically just makes the game easier, I don't think it adds much to the game. The modified treasure bonus mechanic is a matter of taste, you get more strategic freedom but I think it decreases difficulty as well. The expansion adds 2 new maps though, that's good of course.

I'd say get the base game no matter what and then consider getting the expansion later if you like the game.
