Which in my mind is very disappointing cuz the dialogue between Regis and Iedolas is absolute ace.
I don't think that was Pro footage... XD If it was, the game looks hardly any better than the PS4 base version. There was really hardly any improvement from what we've seen so far...just less dithering on the hair maybe.

Doesn't seem to be supersampling at all though, check out the hair. Most other Pro titles supersample from something greater than 1080p but less than 4k.

Damn. After all the disappointment I'm quite surprised that the trailer actually has me pretty hyped.
I thought it tasted like pigeons.
See that is what I get for not following this at all and just trying to not spoil myself.
But that is my worst fears. For Luna that is.
It isn't like the Shiva sisters made their first introduction in XIII, been introduced before it in side materials.
The gameplay parts look a lot better than the what we saw in the 50 minute/30 minute footage. The cutscenes look the same with some improvements.

Base version runs terribly. Pro version of FFXV is about bringing it to 'acceptable' levels, it doesn't have the solid technical foundation of other AAA games.

Man, if the Pro version looks even better than what we see in the trailer, it'd be a dream come true. I bet Tabata and the team will be glad they finally get to add some of the stuff they removed for the base PS4 version.

Most people have said it runs smoothly. The problem is that they had to sacrifice a lot to get it to run smoothly.

Finally, a story trailer. Ardyn's performance is really good here.
And this arrangement of the FF theme is fantastic.
But what was really fantastic about this were the graphics. The lighting is especially good here, but also the draw distance, foliage and textures in general. I hope they do a PS4 vs PS4Pro comparison video for this game so I can see just how much you need a Pro to experience this game as intended...

I like how the woman in Gentiana's role here is holding blue flowers. Gentiana is also the name of a blue flower, so now that name's source is confirmed I guess.

Part of the treaty is that Noctis and Luna are to get married. Regis wants Noct to get married with Luna at Altissia, so he sends him over there. However, the real reason is that he doesn't want Noct to be at Insomnia when all the shit goes down cause he needs him to be alive since he obviously is very important.
The REAL reason is (HUGE SPOILERS)
Cause Tabata and co couldn't handle doing the invasion scene in real time

The fact that they haven't even shown an in-game model of the emperor is incredibly telling, someone's about to get wrecked harder than Jil Nabaat, who was only in FFXIII for literally less than ten minutes.

I prefer the Jump Festa 2014 trailer over this one. Felt that one had a bit more of a flow to it and the music fit better.
