STAN LEE FILMED FOUR MARVEL MOVIE CAMEOS IN ONE DAY

At age 93, Stan Lee may show some signs of slowing down, but he’s clearly still capable of performing near-superhuman feats — including filming four cameos for Marvel Studios productions in a single day.

Responding to an audience question following a special screening of “Captain America: Civil War” in Hollywood, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said there’s nothing “random” about Lee’s legendary cameos, explaining, “They’re always very specific.”

“A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects,” he said. “They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.”

Marvel’s filmmaking juggling act also helped, as four of the nine movies set to be released over the next three years are either in post-production or being filmed: “Doctor Strange,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and “Thor: Ragnarok.”

I don't know why the hyperbole here makes me so amused.

He stood and sat in different spaces! It was amazing! You wouldn't believe this man's ability to stay still in varying positions!

In before true but boring recollection of how Stan Lee is marvels bob kane

Hah, I'd say he deserves a little more than that. Stan takes more credit than he deserves in terms of storytelling ability and (especially) character origins, but as a businessman and editor? Dude had serious vision. He knew talent when he saw it and raised Marvel from being DC's two-bit competitor to a serious brand in its own right.

Might as well ccall Atlanta Marvel Town

Odin himself couldn't resist that food.

That's awesome but at the same time it sounds like Marvel's getting in as many cameos as possible before Lee can't do them anymore.

Not enough. He needs to sign over rights to his likeness so he can be digitally recreated in all Marvel movies forever. Then I can keep shouting "Stan Lee!" every time he shows up in one, much to the delight/chagrin of those who are watching with me.

And NYCC is saying that it's his last one ever from now on.

Guessing the lines for his meet-ups of autographs and photos will be super-super long now, moreso than even the past...

Yeah that's what I meant to say-they're billing it as his last one. He says he is getting too old for the conventions.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
His best cameos weren't even for Marvel Studios. His best recent cameo was the one in Deadpool.

Gotta lay that groundwork for that shocking "Stan Lee was Watcher Uatu all along, who was just keeping tabs on all the MCU's heroes" reveal for Avengers: Infinity War.

Hope Im still a mover and shaker at 93. Badass no matter hiw you slice it.

I liked when he tried to duck out of appearing in Guardians because he had nothing to do with that stuff, then they forced him to show up anyway.
