Uncanny Avengers #7 - Standoff tie-in as Rogue's team gets a wind of what's going on in Pleasantville from Wrecker of all people. Funny stuff with Deadpool, Stegman's art has improved dramatically compared to the early issues and I like this event so this was a good one. Not so sure about them trying to make Synapse happen, Synapse isnt happening so stop trying guys.

Deadpool #8 - Deadpool vs Sabretooth part 1 and its the least jokey Wade has been in years, and its great. Deadpool thinks Creed killed his family so he almost decapitates him and is about to have a throw down. Straight to the point with this one, felt super brisk. Great art too, really liking this book. The peanut gallery has a little moment also where each member is successful in their current missiom while Deadpool is away.

Agents of SHIELD #3 - Standoff tie-in as the team learns about Pleasantville and tracks down Rick Jones for some explaining. This was ok but the tv show stuff shoed-in still rubs me the wrong way. I get what they are trying to do I guess but I don't have to like it. Maybe if the book wasn't so bland I guess.

This set of issues. I believe it is 3 issues. Are fucking fantastic work. Lolli's are is so great for deadpool and the story hits the right emotional notes while still having a few good jokes

I have a Comixology voucher to use and I'm keen to check out some quality Vertigo titles. Thoughts on Gail Simone's Clean Room? It looks interesting, but I haven't been following it. I'm also considering FBP and Unfollow. I'd love to hear thoughts on those titles too.

Please buy Sheriff of Babylon if you haven't.

Deadpool's current run is super underrated around here I feel. Nobody seems to care about it, which is strange since I remember Duggan's previous run being praised, and this one so far is much better imo.

In fact, I cant remember a book where Deadpool is bad right now. Certainly not the solo, the Spidey team up or Uncanny. Maybe one of the other Deadpool solos I guess? Still he is in his best place in years I feel.

I'm enjoying the current Deadpool run.

It's fine. I prefer Mercs for Money over the main series though.

Mah Viv ;_;

Surgeon X is solid. I'm about halfway through the issue. Wasn't feeling it at first but it won me over. Scary part is that this really isn't all that far-fetched.

While I was making the thread Afterlife with Archie got delayed by a month. Could have seen that coming a mile away.

Power Man & Iron Fist #2 / Deadpool & Spider-Man #3 - gosh these books sure are fun.

OK, everyone... what is the "best of" Hellboy reading order?

Literally just Hellboy? Just follow the trade order 1 through to 12 then In Hell.

Hellboy Universe? Some people are reading it like this Click

I would make it even simpler than that in some cases but people seem mostly satisfied with it. Has a few weird instances of encouraging to read stuff that is written as prequel material first but looking through it's mostly fine.

*sigh* I was better off not knowing these Mignola Fourth World concept drawings existed...

Absolutely awesome. Imagine DC giving Mike a young animal like auteur-esque imprint, with stuff like this? It'll never happen but one can imagine

Tom King might be a name that keeps getting mentioned when we're talking about the great's. And we'd have watched it live. I think Scott Snyder might be a great when he steps away from the shadow of the Bat. His indie work is incredible. I know I've seen GAF disappointment in the second cycle, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the anthology.

Some of the best stuff (well things im waiting on) from all new like moon knight and black widow is yet to hit trade so can't really fill out the questionnaire (QUESTIONNAIRES) but out of what I read only thor, Dr Strange and Vision would be worth putting on a best list. I read vol 1 of spider gwen, old man logan, and extraordinary x-men but I wouldn't say any of those are exceptional enough to really get behind as a best of thing. OML mostly for being such a sparse collection, barely gets going.

Ah wait, in fact I read Invincible Iron man and amazing spiderman vols 1 as well, they were entirely forgettable.

Man it sucks that Emma Frost was outright cancelled. Ended on a pretty sour note. A lot of threads left hanging, given what they were doing with the book. Still an enjoyable read, though and it gives me a greater appreciation for Emma's character. It just really sucks that they weren't able to go all the way with if.

Well, I assume that it was cancelled, since I'm assuming that the plan was to have it end with her becoming the White Queen.

jon bones

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
i want to read the Dr Strange annual - will that spoil the main story (which I am waiting to wrap up before reading)?

I was also less than thrilled with Wytches. But Snyder is certainly one of the better writers out there.
