I, again, cannot believe that so many adults would admit to reading and being emotionally invested in 4chan.
Some of the best porn is made in written text....You don't really read porn. Well unless it's braille.

Vomit on his sweater already.

And I have yet to find a better place for video game discussion than /v/, as odd as that may sound. (Not to say that good discussion can't be found here; just that I've found that /v/ is the best in terms of places to discuss things)
I wouldn't be too sad if 4chan does close, but I will miss the effect /mu/ had on me discovering new music that would have been left unheard if it weren't for those one or two people who loved it enough to champion them.
/lit/ is really worthwhile

you cannot possibly be serious
He's playing Arab money while replying to dms while also sitting on gambino's twitter page.
On the rare occasions where you actually get discussion out of it rather than porn, /v/ is a pretty solid place to talk about old games.
Anybody who doesn't think this is him trolling people should now know better.
I am completely serious.you cannot possibly be serious

There's probably the largest amount of discussion of certain games series that get barely any discussion on any other website.you cannot possibly be serious

For example, I can discuss Falcom games indepth without talking to the same 15 people over and over like here on Neogaf. Exaggeration but still.
100 percent this.I am completely serious.
I like that threads can be recreated at any time once they fall off the board, thus regenerating discussion constantly. While there's lots of dumb posts that get made, a lot of fantastic discussion comes from the board. My particular favorite posts ever happened to come from a Final Fantasy XII thread where someone explained how Vaan is an important character that's genuinely relevant to the plot of the game.
Besides that, /v/ is the only place I've found where you can get huge amounts of discussion out of the most obscure titles out there. Nowhere else have I seen games like OneShot and Sorcerland get as much attention as they did there.
But besides /b/, /a/ is pretty much the foundation of the site. The whole site is built on anime culture.Keep /b/, /gif/, /v/ and /vg/
The rest can go die

/mu/ will be dead once /pol/ and /TV/ type stuff infect it./mu/'s dead, my friend. It's been going downhill for years now.

err... shkreli is live streaming his plan to save 4chan..

have we somehow fallen into a parallel meme dimension? this is hurting my brain... I liked it when memes were clever insider jokes on fringe websites...

I'm more talking about a combination of /v/, /vg/ and /vr/ but still.1. /vr/
2. check the unique users and you're probably talking to the 15 or so dudes there too.
3. I can't stand /v/. They're too gullible for their own good.
Doesn't matter, he's right. 4chan is a Somethingawful offshoot for anime. You suspiciously sound like one of those awful "anime reaction images are related to everything because anime was here first" posters.

The rage quit on stream was pretty fantastic.
He legit got mad he lost an online typing game. Milennials.avi
even though i'm way past my edgelord teenage 4chan years, im still really fond of /mu/ and shitposts aside /v/ is good for raw game impressions.

You think a website that requires people to have college and/or isp given emails that takes about a year to approve people for posting has more traffic than a site that anyone can post on at any time with almost no restrictions? Like, GAF has a lot of traffic but don't think for a second that 4chan is small. What? It can't be that expensive to maintain that site right? It's not that big. I'm sure Neogaf has like 30 times the traffic of it, and it barely has ads.
He's right though. 4chan was made so Moot and other SAforums users could talk about anime more freely.

Neogaf Global Rank: 2,499
4chan Global Rank: 581
I actually think its funny how sometimes I see people on 4chan will start referring to Neogaf users by name because they post a lot here and lurkers see them. I saw people shitting on Kagari and duckroll in a thread once about FFXV.
Maybe I'm insane but I think the negatives far outweigh any positive you guys are getting from /v/
