The detachable controllers on the handheld part look tiny. It's gonna kill my enjoyment of the multiplayer-on-the-go experience if my hands cramp up when I play. Still, it was better than the Wii U's reveal. Just need to know the price and specs now.

why is the docking station so big?

and what is up with the controller, where you can slide in the mini pads?

Guys, are you sure this is Mario Kart 8?

I don't remember having Boo in this game nor having two items!

It looks like an updated MK8 to me. I refuse to believe that the first thing that they'd show of a new Mario Kart is a retro course that's been done twice before.

If it turns out to have decent games and support from third parties, it could do gangbusters.

I'm not a portable/handheld gamer at all, though, so half of it doesn't appeal to me. I'll probably end up buying a used WiiU for Zelda and waiting to see how this turns out.

The hardware is nice, basically what the Wii U should have been.

If it has a lot of good non-Nintendo games then I might consider it since I do have a long commute.

It's exactly what was rumoured and what I was expecting.
I'm glad to see there's a proper controller and it looks relatively gimmick free other than the "switch" aspect which is a relief.

Their advert focus was the most interesting thing I thought. It showed a core gamer western rpg, a sports game and an e-sports setting which is an interesting shift in priorities. No children or party games in sight.

My hands hurt from just looking at that. Local multiplayer with those tiny half controllers? Yeah, I am going pretend that doesn't exist... craggle them to the tablet and just use a pro controller.

The face buttons are above right analog stick thankfully. I hated that they were below the right analog on the pro controller and Wii U tablet.

I'm down, looks sleek. Love the concept.

Nintendo first party's strength focused on a single platform is massive.

This is too cool! I probably won't buy it day one, but once it builds up a decent enough library I'll definitely buy it.

Yikes people like this? They made WiiU 2 now more portable but no one going to use outside their house.

I admire Nintendo for trying to bridge home console and mobile gaming but this isn't going to do it and good god why are the so awful at naming things.

my dick is so hard right now.

that delivered way more than I expected.

lost my shit at the Mario part.

3D Mario is Bak boooissss

I'm hyped for the console and playing it on the 65 inch tv, but those portable "I'm going to a party, here let's play together" reminds me of this....

Seriously, what's with the baby controllers?

You don't need to be empathetic towards me.
Yet another terrible name.

It sounds more like an accessory name than a whole new system.

I'm not feeling it.

Skeptical in the meantime. I'm not a fan of the name but I guess the name makes sense. The Wii U had a similar reveal and everyone thought it was going to bring the second coming. Not hyped up but not 100% negative either. We will see what happens.

It's everything I could have hoped for in a hybrid. If they make it work as seamlessly as the video indicated than this is going to be my main console going forward.

Depending on the games of course... which... I mean, I don't really have to worry about that.
