That said it seems like the perfect game to play if you just want to sit back and chill for a while.
This isn't even remotely comparable though. The exact same thing was said about No Man's Sky :/
A little explanation might be helpful? What was wrong with it?Played a bit of this last night and was utterly bored by it sadly. I loved 1080 and Amped 3 (and SSX to come extent) so thought I would enjoy this
Three PS4 EU codes, though they might work elsewhere too:
3DBRGWR3QCQ2
3ZRACW8GD7QJ
CT8WYJBLXCLF
Still not really feeling the game, but at least the tearing seems to be gone Will give it another few goes though!
3 codes, maybe for Xbox, not sure
I think people are missing the point of this game. The focus isnt on massive tricks and big jumps. Its about exploring the massive world and finding the best lines. The sense of freedom is absolutely amazing. Carving down a mountain with almost no limits to where you can go feels so good.
One of the best races Ive done was one where there were no checkpoints, just a finish line about 5km away. Youre left to choose the route down.
Im genuinely blown away with this game and I think itd really sad that the general impressions are negative. For me its virtual escapism at its finest.
Also I cant understand the negative comments about the sense of speed. Its absolutely incredible how fast it feels flying down a mountain.
Exactly. I have really *no idea* where those negative comments come from. It's not perfect, but all those complaints, I really don't get them.
I think the biggest offender in this game is no grind. The trick system is already pretty hollow it's a shame they didn't implement jibs. It's a game that neither want to be ssx or skate and falls a bit flat inbetween... Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good experience but not groundbreaking.
As I said before it will be really good game few months after release when they add more tricks.
I would't count on it since they would have to re-work the entire map to allow grinding
You can't just throw rails on the course and call it quits, the terrain would need a complete update to feel cohesive imo.Not really, they could add events and rails in specific places.
