Oh yeah! I had totally forgotten about Spartan Assault, I must have thought it was a beefed up remaster or something.
Titanfall and Rise are both stunning on 360. Not to take away from how good Rise looks on XB1 (Titanfall, not so much) but it's actually hard to believe what a good job they did to make it not only content complete, but also as close a port between gens as I've ever seen. And after 10 years of 360 they made magic come out of that little fire hazard.
I even ended up playing it after being spoiled with it on XB1. I just had to rent it and give it a spin on my miraculously still functioning 2007 era Falcon 360. Surrounded my self with so many fans it felt like I was playing in the middle of a tornado. Even after having completed the game and not having played my 360 with any regularity since I got my Bone at launch I still kept having to stop and marvel at how they even managed to pull off the little details like spiders and scorpions. The kind of cool environmental stuff that always gets left on the cutting room floor because their can't make it work, or they just don't really care about a last gen game that no matter how much work they put in will go largely unnoticed. Kudos to the guys at Nixxes who seem to be one of the few 3rd party developers who can get the kind of results that almost only ever come from in house studios with tons more support and pressure to make their box come out ahead.
Seeing how close they managed to get with elderly hardware almost makes me a little sad that we are going to see the blurring of generations of consoles from now on. Stuff like Rise, RE4, Doom 3, and God of War 2 only get to be such incredible feats thanks to a constant need to extract more and more out of something and drawing from a deep understanding of how to make something that looks like it's running on a totally different platform when compared to even midcycle stuff.
Saints Row 4, Castlestorm and Castle Crashers all have an X1 version and a 360 BC version

I've brought Rare replay and there are duplicate downloads for the 360 games included in Rare Replay. Can I also install those 360 games on my 360 Console? Are they on my Xbox live account?

Just got a One... the selling point being retro compatibility... so i have 45 games to download. Good to see SNK releases between the bunch. Any hopes for OutRun or Third Strike ?

Even if it's just to pad out the number of BC titles, I'd really like Sega to allow Virtua Fighter 5 vanilla through.
As an achievement whore who doesn't want to buy FS (even though it has easy achievements) I want my digital copy to pop up. I'll probably just leave my 360 out I guess. I have space for it.

congrats on the new system! 3S is a lot more likely than OutRun, but capcom has not been stellar about supporting XBO BC.

No, this version has been available since the game launched. It gives you a code for the 360 version and allows a free download of the Xbox One version.

BC has literally raised my love for my Xbox One ten fold.....it's right up there if not slightly ahead of my PS4 now
Mass Effect being available and running well has helped this opinion greatly....

Yea, there's just something about it. Being able to play all those amazing games from last gen, Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect, Fable, Gears of War...etc.
I agree. Played a ton of Horizon 3, now I went back to the first one and it's fantastic how great those games run. The "achievement hunter" in me made me download pretty much everything that was in my download list, going for the 100k before the end of the month (just 450 G more!). Took me less than 6 and an half years

Specially since those games are still pretty amazing.i feel they shoul push retro compatibility much more.it was definitely my system seller.
It's especially good for people like me who didn't play all of the games last generation. I had a 360 early on but sold it shortly after the first Gears so I missed a bunch of good shit.

That would go against the games are games motto they had since xbone started. Though it could be easily solved by making the pin area work like the win phone start screen, which honestly I have no idea why they haven't just already.
When you have 200+ items in ready to be installed, it can be a pain.

This gives me hope we might actually see the older Forza games (2,3,4) and PGR's 3 & 4 BC someday. Although they'll have none of there DLC available and probably won't be available digital, it'd still be awesome to see them BC.

Thank you to those who sent me other Gears 2 codes but it doesn't work. Either I change my region on my Xbox One or I try to get it done with some VPN tricks, I cannot redeem Gears 2 as the game is not allowed to release in Germany. I had the hope I could workaround it but it seems I cannot. If somebody from germany knows a workaround that works please PM me.
