Was that the 3rd interview or the 1st? I would be surprised if it was the 2nd, but maybe his Frieza impersonation was really that good.
Imagine if they tried to do an american version, I don't know if it would have more cringe or less because at least Eita has Dragonball impersonations and guitar skills going for him. Especially if MvC4 really does happen and we have a surge of random ass sponsor in front of everyone's names.

Hopefully Capcom uses Gamewith's logo on the overlay. It's important you squeeze out every little chance to show off the sponsors so sponsors don't see it as a waste to sponsor these fighting game players. Sometimes just using abbreviations isn't good enough.

Hmmm...say there was ever a MVC compilation disc released and it was going to have Ver. 2.0 patching to the balance in each. What do you think they would need to do to those games? It'd be kind of neat to see every marvel at tournies rebalanced. You could do one helluva League series of tournies just for that.

I can see them removing a lot of the glitches but I don't know if they'll bother with rebalancing.

That's true. SF HD Remix did do some balance changes to an old ass game.
I'm just thinking out loud I guess. If capcom was wanting to invest in an entire league of titles for events in a season though...this'd be the game series to pull and remix. UMVC3 port with patch would be the most possible. Just thinking that a compilation release with "black label" remixes on disc would be something interesting to see someday. I really dig remixed stuff.

I don't know much about PSX, but is Sony doing some kind of keynote? Their website mentions a Playstation Showcase that begins at 10am on Saturday. Is that it?
That was a game with far less characters and mechanics, and people still didn't like the changes made!
