I really should play Typing of the Dead. I need to keep 52 games thing rolling when im done tbh, its great as a backlog clear motivator.

*goes back to never ending mmo-like games >_>

It's great until the final boss where the game completely changes the rules. It's also 2 completely separate games in one, typing and a mouse rail-shooter.

But
Uve been playing short games recently so typing is more than doable

I have some amount of regret about purchasing Vermintide.

I've found games with hosts overseas to be alright, I think it's only super super bad when the host has horrific internet, which you'll definitely notice, but don't be shy to switch to World filter.

Also, if you need a dude, I'd play with you, no idea if anyone else in the universe plays.

Hoping Stephen's Sausage Roll goes on sale this time. It was discounted on Humble recently but the currency meant it was still cheaper full-price on Steam for me.

Doable for what? If you mean its short, im like 1 game away from the 52 so im not really looking for short games for shortness sake anymore. Hell the last few ive played werent particulary short, at least not all. Broken Age (10 hours) and Flame in the Flood (7 hours) for example.

Is all the dlc integrated into the campaign? Like the shakespere dlc and shit.

The last great sale was the monster clicker sale (June 2015). No repeats, tons of flash/daily deals, and really good prices on some indie games. Oh, and price mistakes!

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Before the sale starts, I'd recommend taking note of any titles you want that are currently discounted as there's a good chance that the sale discount be applied on top of the pre-existing one.

You think that's bad?

the fucking Logitech Software app just flat out forgets my G303 lighting settings

so everytime I use it it's always that shitty 'breathing' effect lighting I can't turn off
You can fix this. I'm not sure I remember how but disable something under startup in the settings. (you don't need the app, you can even change dpi and save color settimgs without the app installed)

Do any of you have a game planned for christmas?

I will download ESO for Christmas.

If it's actually 85 GB it should be ready by boxing day...

Fight smart.
Hire Irval, pawn with brawn.

Think he looks like this now:
Irval is the best.

That pawn stuff was so fun. I should replay DDDA some time.

You know what I need from SE?

Final Fantasy 6. And no I dont give 2 fucks if its not the same as the snes version. And no im not going to track down a snes to play the real version. I just want to play that game because I never did.

Also on top of my sale wishes is that chibi dark souls style game with the generic name...tower of fire or something? Im terrible with names.

You should play the GBA version! I'm currently replaying it for the 30th anniversary thing and gba is the way to go.

Check out this thread http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1326043 for a nice summary of good versions to play for all ff titles

Finished up BioShock Remastered. Took me 12 hrs.

Tried playing the vanilla version many times over the years but I always got bored after like the first hour. Started the remastered version when it came out just to quit again after like 5hrs. Decided to pick it up again a few days ago and finally finished it up. Enjoyed the game a lot the only thing I dislike is the shooting. It just felt very unnatural. Everything else was very fun and holds up really well for a 2007 game. I see why people love the game so much and why it scored so well. The presentation and audio must have been very mindblowing for its time. I would personally give it 9 out of 10. Didn't really like any of the characters or the story at first but they all grow on you over time. Everything keeps getting more crazy and more hectic. The setting was superb too. It was a ton of fun and I am looking forward to playing BioShock 2 Remastered some time next year. Anyways I am very LTTP with it so its probably dumb to recommend it to others at this point but if you haven't played it you should.

Absolutely, if you already have a decent twin stick gamepad (DS4 or WiiU Pro).
It's not a 'one size fits all' solution, but it's the best thing on the market for playing PC games.

Careful with that. While it's a great controller and I prefer using it to my XB Elite for some genres, it can be a very bad controller as well depending on how much time you put into learning, how comfy you are with the button placements, how easy your hands cramp up etc. Also some genres really don't work with it (racing games), at least for me.

That's why I said he should buy it only if he has already got a decent gamepad.

Ya racers can be really annoying with it. Ive tried setting up gyro with a few games before since it seems like it would be a lot of fun with it but its already hard as it is to setup a decent layout without it, i just use my ps4 controller whenever i play forza cause of it.
