No one is saying better then the witcher, but far cry is not an RPG, it's a FPS with skills, the crafting is limited and basic, it has no dialog, choices, role playing at all. The comparisons are silly.
Most games these days for for accessible, Skyrim is accessible, would you say that's an RPG?
I never said that anybody is saying BETTER than Witcher. I'm saying by their own admission the mechanics won't be at the Witcher's level. I'm also not saying it's the same level of "RPG" as Far Cry. I'm saying that I have no doubt that, on a scale from Far Cry, way over to Witcher 3, this game will be further towards the Far Cry side. They are making sure to call it an Action RPG every time instead of RPG, they bring up the accessibility of mechanics, they say they don't want to get much into stats and things, quests won't be at Witcher level in scope or consequence, etc.
And, yeah, Skyrim is accessible in the sense the every western RPG is accessible. That doesn't mean they're on the same scale of accessibility.
This is all not to mention that it's not even a big deal to me if it's not a hardcore western RPG. I just hope it's a great game.
They may reveal tons of things from now on! Did IGN First covered it before?
No. Gameinformer had a cover though.
I dont think a Sony game has ever been an IGN first

You are wrong.

Same, that's going to be the twist!I have this daunting feeling that this actually plays in the Killzone universe

I wouldn't go that far. It has RPG elements like a lot of action/adventure games like to have. It's not an RPG. It's more of an open world Uncharted with skill trees. A third person Far Cry is a good example actually. Looks amazing though. I'm excited.
Wrong!!

Killzone guy was on Homeland. Lance Reddick is most famously from The Wire. Two different guys who don't really look all that similar.

Thats rope caster i know, but you can see in the shot or in the video , people cheering up in the background , its looks like an arena and the match is between the Scopionsque and the corrupted machine.
Because you are required to play Gravity Rush 2 first to speed up time for release of Horizon ZDKinda OT, but have a question -- hopefully someone here can help:
Why is it that I have to wait until the end of Feb to play this?
Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

It'll be amazing if Horizon has better cities than FFXzV, and it just might.
Game looks absolutely amazing.
