Depends on the game. Retailers will compete as always, so it'll likely be around £40 around release like PS4/XB1 now.

Whatever the retailers calculate will get them the most profits.

I'd expect £40 on Amazon UK at launch for Zelda.

yeah, really hope amazon have the red/blue ones up. i've had a pre order with game since nov 18 but if that's just going to turn into a grey one i'd probably cancel.

Feels like the usual 'sucker in the hardcore now and kowtow later' pricing strategy.

Thing is... I am the Nintendo hardcore, and I don't want a release day Switch, based on the launch library + price. And I didn't think I'd be saying that earlier this evening. I fell for it with Wii U, and I honestly didn't regret it at the time, but I can't be doing this all my life.

what? i'm saying that sony didn't bother adjusting their exchange rate while other companies (like apple) did.

the ps4 pro launched 3 years after the og ps4 at the same price in both the us and the uk. they obviously disregarded the tanking pound. it's just a shame nintendo didn't do the same.

Because I'd bite at this price if I felt it could not only play Nintendo games on the go but also replace my aging 2012 Nexus 7 as a kind of "going away media consumption device" where I can browse the web, watch TV, check my emails and play games.

If it is purely a games machine, with no additional functionality though.... This is getting dangerously close (for Nintendo) to iPad Mini prices.

Well we don't know initial stock levels and Game will get the most stock of any retailer. I know there were reports of low stock, but it seems the "insiders" got a lot wrong.

Nothing official, but it'll have a web browser and some media apps. I'll eat my hat if it doesn't.

Don't expect anything too fancy though. Email client might be pushing it.

And it's much more powerful to boot. This BARELY is on par with the Wii U which i massively disappointing for a 2017 product at that price point. Something gotta give but NIntendo isn't giving anything. The pain... I should have listened to my friends at Sonic Team.
