ImpressionS from Giant Bomb and other hands on reports. Not saying they are right, but they talk about the feel of them being clicky.
Charge Grip needs to be plugged in to charge as it doesn't have a battery.
I edited my post but yeah I saw some pictures. They do look clicky =/
It's hard to say, I've heard mixed messages on whether the Pro controller has analogue triggers but games like Mario Sunshine could use the L button (which GameCube didn't have) as another input.😓😒😖
So no GCN VC after all...?!
If only they could have gotten the price right. That piece of bad news really soured a lot of people when the system itself looks great. I don't think it's like the Wii U where the hardware concept was flawed and the price was too steep, here it's really the price. I wish they could do an Xbone before launch as that reversal saved it, but it's too close to launch to revise pricing.
Fun fact, they're the opposite colors when you buy the separate set. Ie Red Left and Blue Right instead of the other way around as comes with the system.
Glad to get the number of hrs. For the joycons. 20 hrs is pretty impressive.
Its Nintendo of course not.
That charging grip does not have a battery
If there was even a game included it wouldn't be so bad but the price really stinks for me. sometimes it seems like everyone wants nintendo to succeed except Nintendo.
Didn't the Wii U Pro Controller have some ridiculous battery life like 80 hours?
Still not a fan of built-in batteries for controllers though. Microsoft still beats the competition in that aspect.
😓😒😖

System itself and the design looks really sleek and nice.
Does the switch have fans ? Or is it passively cooled?
Yes of course not Nintendo, the company that invented them.
Did they really?
Not sure if they were the first (before PC controls?) but they were featured on the gamecube.
I stumbled upon a page saying that the triggers are digital on the Switch though.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of download play announced? I may get two switches for my house and am wondering if i'll need to buy multiple copies of some games.
no, not really: http://segaretro.org/3D_Control_Pad
I do want to know how good the audio jack is in tablet mode, as I have some excellent sound-cancelling headphones that would be great to use for long plane trips.
Same here, i'm considering selling my PS4 Pro and adding some cash to buy PS4 Slim and Switch.I was skeptical, but seeing all the hands on impressions, I'm actually excited now. Lots of potential here.

I regret preordering the grey one, the blue and red version looks so much nicer.
Will this support Bluetooth headphones?
yes really and yeah you're right. It's basically just a shell you can plug into the console/ac/etc to charge the joycons from. As for your second question joycons can be charged without the charging grip when you attach them to the switch and the switch is attached to a power source (dock/ac adapter)Wut, really? So "Charging" grip just means you can plug the whole thing in?
Can Joycons not be charged themselves?
😓😒😖

I've noticed these Nintendo reps keep saying "HOME console". I know it's gonna be their home console, but the way they are messaging it worries me a slight bit. I really hoped the Switch would be the catch all Nintendo platform going forward, but now I'm starting to fear there might be a 4DS coming also..
whether or not nintendo releases a version of the switch that is simply a handheld and nothing else, the point is that this is their platform going forward. It will still run the same games as this and have the same specs or less. It'll run the same game carts and games will still cost the price you see here.I imagine that's to sell you on the higher price. If they put out a dedicated handheld I really expect it to use the exact same tech and games, the same system in a different form factor. I just expect it to take a year or two for affordability's sake. It'd make sense for Japan especially.
That's just speculation though, it sucks there isn't confirmation of it either way. I think it'd alleviate a lot of fears when it comes to Nintendo's internal game development, and the usual handheld 3rd party games in the long run, but they're clearly trying to keep the 3DS around for now.
Has anyone confirmed of single card download multiplayer like in the DS is able to be done on the Switch?
no, not really: http://segaretro.org/3D_Control_Pad
I remember hearing 40 hours, but I could be wrong. If so, it's a step down from the Wii U Pro Controller, but an understandable one given the extra tech that the Switch Pro Controller is packing.Do we know the Pro Controller battery life? Im hopnig for Wii U Pro levels of battery. 60 hours was amazing.

I just noticed something that I think really sucks: The charging port is at the bottom, which means if you're in bed and want to play and charge the switch at the same time you can't rest it comfortably near your upper body. The port should have been at the top.
