Welcome back, Not! I have put you on the replacement list for Zelda Mafia so if a spot opens up I will let you know. You'll be 2nd on the list since Terrabyte gets priority because he didn't play in Season 7 and since Fat4All made it to the end of his Season 7 game without dying ( and you subbed out early on in Pop ) you will have priority over him.

To expand and build on Crab's post, the following are the results from Season 7 Survey:


  • Most people enjoyed Season 7 (91%)
  • Most people were happy with the balance (96%)
  • Most people were in love with their GMs (98%)
  • Most people would return in Season 8 (67%)

Additionally, on phases and activity levels...

  • Most people opted for 3/2 as their ideal phases (71%)
  • More than half wanted every player to at least post once every 24 hours (56%)
  • Around half thought 15-20 people game is the ideal game size (47%)
  • And a lot of players thought their activity levels were medium to high (chart below):

In total, 45 answered the quantitative survey and 25 answered the qualitative one.

From the qualitative survey...


  • Most seemed to enjoy the role assigned to them. A few said they were relieved they rolled vanilla town as their first mafia role since they didn't know how to play. Another few said they were intimidated to have rolled scum but that their teams proved the experience to be quite enjoyable.
  • Most newcomers felt there was enough guidance and that they were able to figure the game out by the end.
  • And to re-chime Crab's point: A LOT complained about the long day phases and the abysmal activity levels in some of the games.

Finally, MVP nominations were asked and I can announce that acohrs has won the MVP award with 4 nominations to his name! CONGRATULATIONS ACOHRS!!!

  • Honourable Mentions: Fat4all and Natiko (each with 2 nominations)

I already responded to the new questionnaire but I'll go ahead and say that I'm excited to see how a game like that goes, whether as a participant or a spectator.

Also thanks to whoever nominated me, but I think acohrs deserves the nod for sure. Congrats acohrs!

I actually can't see the example again because it says I already took the survey. Crab should maybe quote it here perhaps?

Either way, I liked the explanation. It basically means day phases end when town comes to a true majority.
