Good to hear. Game was fantastic- flaws & all.
Any interesting info you can give that we can't already infer from the PR/data we have?
What is it Ignis?
What?
Sure.
Average pricing for software is pretty strong, despite the discounting everyone is talking about.
HW pricing was weak. So although HW units were pretty good, unit sales didn't increase at a level where it could offset the drop in pricing.
3DS continues to do exceptionally well despite its age. Pokemon certainly helps.
PS4 is the lead platform. Can't give %.
Wow, really?! Well I doubt it only did 300k on Xbox. That'd be a HUGE difference but it is possible. PS4 doing most of the work. I'd guess 70/30 though to be more conservative.

As expected of the first to launch simultaneously worldwide, which means this is basically not even a star to stick on the game lol
Cool. The average price is thing is good to know.Sure.

Hot take - Nintendo would be able to sell more NES Classics.

XIII split was like 63% Ps3 37 % Xbox 360 more or less.
Eh. Pretty mediocre game. Sales seem about right considering how much money they invested in marketing and promotional material.
I mean, taste is subjective, but either you have a narrow sampling of the generation or you are a crazy fanboy.
I could accept it as someone's game of the year, but game of the generation??
I loved it, I also really enjoyed brotherhood but haven't had a chance to watch Kingsglaive yet. I'm glad it did well for SE as it gives them a pretty great baseline for future entries hopefully not bogged down by a lot of the issues that plagued XV.
You people lol. Its a game it sold well stop itEh. Pretty mediocre game. Sales seem about right considering how much money they invested in marketing and promotional material.

Hi, welcome to NPD, you must be new here.

Yeah but it should be a bit more since the user base are more even now IMO.
So 70\30 should be possible.

what is npd
This is USA only sales.
Not trying to dogpile, but you do know that NPD are just USA numbers right? Meaning that a worldwide launch is irrelevant.
Console SW was down about 12%

The platform did not hold back FFXV in Japan .
FFXIII sold 900k more on a smaller PS3 user base .
Japan just don't like the game as much as the rest of the world .
Also mainline FF save from mobile for now .

It probably isn't... Anyway great for XV, hope it continues to do well!
Hello. I'm not seeing Square running to port the PC version to Xbox one yet.
Lol no it's not, PS4 was always going to sell way more than the XB1Certainly undeserved but I'd love to see the format split. Sounds like the PS4 version did very well but how well over the Xbox version is the real question.
Avatar bet?
PC version? We're talking about the remake.
I don't know how or why people keep saying this, but it is untrue.
FFXIII released when there was 4M+ PS3s.
FFXV released when there was 3.6M~3.7M PS4s.
I'm not sure anyone thinks that though.
Wat, no way. Sure they weren't just talking about Japan?Colin and Greg were theorizing it would sell pretty close to FFXV. That was pretty hilarious.
