Did anyone else pick up their copy from GameStop? The preorder bonus wasn't printed on the receipt nor was included in the game, I'm not sure where else to look.

Happy news for my fellow language aficionados: I've already cracked this game's writing system! All it took was
the titles of chapters 1 and 2
in the Japanese version.

I'd draw some characters for you but my writing hand is in a cast. (I can still hold a controller.) So far,
they seem to be using the same principles as last time, only the letters have different forms. But the GR1 alphabet is still in use for sound effects in the comic panels.

I'll take a whole pile of screenshots tomorrow so that everyone can follow along!

So so upset at Amazon, they don't have enough stock in Canada apparently.

I am so tempted to just go digital but I want this case in my collection :(

I feel I'm about halfway through the game and I've been trying to do the photo collections. However, I haven't found the "Central Port" area mentioned for the first 2 photos in the Men and Women's collections. Is it somewhere obvious and I've missed it, or will I find it later?

I preordered this game months ago on October 2016. However, it looks like when it got delayed they removed the preorder and refunded me. The issue here is I did not know this till now and its too late to preorder the game. Is it possible to still get the preorder bonuses buying it normally now? Anyone know? This really sucks :(

I swear, if it wasn't for the decent writing, I wouldn't have done any of the sidequests. Super tedious tailing missions are not fun, Team Gravity. Especially when your character's default walking speed is extremely fast. At least they're easy/no instant game overs. But what a waste of time they are.

So Amazon.ca lied to me about the status of my order for 2 days, and somehow managed to not have enough on hand for preorders.

Got it but I just found out that my PS4 is full, so yeah. That sucks. Does uninstalling a game delete the whole save file?

I've literally just started, so for now I can really only say that I'm disappointed it starts with a walking section, and I'm happy that it has a Hard Mode.

Chapter 1 is sort of terrible, but I guess its kinda world building.

From Chapter 2 onwards this game is leaps and bounds above the first game. Really enjoying it now.

Eh I only got rid of TLOU and the Uncharted Trilogy. Not like I'll ever replay those. Holy crap at Doom having 80 gigs of patches though.

Anywho, what the heck happened to Hekseville? Does the game ever explain why we're in this new world?

Episodes 11 and 12 are phenomenal. Especially the two boss fights - the first being maybe the biggest thing I've ever fought in a game? I can hardly remember Adamantoise from FFXV because of how terrible that fight was, but this felt bigger for sure.

It's looking more and more like I'll have to get the game from Best Buy...

Anyone know how I'd have to go about getting the DLC codes now? I can't exactly pre-order on release day...

If you really, really have to have the DLC and your Amazon order still earns it, then you could just buy your copy of the game to play now then when the Amazon order is fulfilled, return it once the DLC code is received.

Assuming you didn't get rid of your game.

BUT, completion of the game doesn't matter, it's just looking for GRR in your SAVEDATA folder to unlock the costumes.

I am loving this opening on Banga where you don't have Dusty. It's this quiet, humble little moment that makes you miss your gravity powers and are stuck with podunk jobs.

The wooden bridges buckle when you step on them! That's amazing!

  • A) Unsure if Best Buy accepts open game returns.
  • B) Unsure if I'll get the game+codes from Amazon before the return period expires.

Ah, as another sign of how SIEA and its subsidiaries dont care about this franchise at all, doesnt seem they are bringing a physical version of the game to Brazil, not that Im shocked since the same happened with GR Remastered on PS4.

Huge bummer

Bit of a tangent, but why don't Sony print Japan Studio's logo in the front of the box art? They do it for the other studios, c'mon Sony, give 'em the spotlight! lol
