Charging an extra couple of quid isn't too much to ask. Back in the day you had to rebuy the whole game to get an updated version. These days you get free balance patches and new characters can be bought individually when they are made.

No-one is complaining about baiken being added to GGXrd even though she's a mainstay character, because they've already accepted and understood the "we'll add more characters but it costs us money so you need to pay us" idea.

Well...this, and ASW is finally allowing us to upgrade an existing version at a reasonable price rather than buying an all new version for 50-60 bucks. :p

Just pre-purchased the vanilla version on Steam, have to support Namco bringing Tekken to PC after years of fans bugging them to do a port.

I'll wait to see whether the season pass is worth the money, though.

Somehow I don't think players will take well to paying for a mimic character. Personally, I don't even like the idea of paying for legacy characters. If we're paying extra money for these additional characters, they'd better have extra work put into them.

Would buy Roger though. No questions asked.

I was hoping it would be more like March but June is actually perfect because usually nothing release in the summer. I guess I'll be pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe edition on Steam this weekend.

Would think it's a super easy thing to implement. I don't see how people can play with all that crazy distracting stuff(or maybe that's part of their strat haha)

YES, FINALLY!!!! A bit later than expected but still, so glad that they finally has a release date even though it's 1 month before Evo.

To be fair, you can't always include everyone in the base roster. Sometimes a few vets may get passed up for newcomers. That's where DLC comes in, it gives devs a second chance to add who they want, be it a veteran who barely missed the cut or a newcomer they just came up with.

Its funny, I've been waiting for this for ages. But now that I know persona, zelda, nier are all coming out in spring, I'm actually glad that this is coming out a little later.

Tekken 2 King is WILD. Never thought I'd see him again. So psyched that Jin is getting his T4 costume, but damn it did they miss an opportunity with Xiaoyu getting her awesome outfit from the same game.

Will preorder the collector's edition easily. Tekken to this day has been my favorite fighter so I can't pass up this chance. :lol

What exclusive content is PS4 getting... I keep seeing that quoted.

Also what is this about cheating on PC.... put in over 600 hours on SFIV and V and have never come across this.

OK then. I mainly play Tekken games as a single player thing where I just playing through everyone's story. I usually dabble a little bit in online for a week or so but that's about the extent of it.

I thought the story-story mode is like the newer MKs where you play as a few of the main characters during different chapters and plot points.

But then there are the arcade-story modes that unlock the ending movies we're used to.

Very interested, but nothing that really gets me slamming my preorder button, just yet. CE has a statue I don't need or want, and still no sign of my faves like Armor King coming back, yet.

Will definitely continue to keep an eye out and hope for the best, though!

Not hot on the DLC. TTT2 was so feature complete at launch, besides the soundtrack stuff. But with the dearth of 3D fighters and a release date spaced out from the near future deluge, I am definitely getting it.

I want this Tekken to last. I approve of the season pass. Unless it's Tekken X Street Fighter we don't need another Tekken game for awhile if this is good.

Anyone else like the Tekken 4 Jin outfit??? No? Anyone? Maybe cause I was a teenager back then I bought Tekken 4 cause Jin looked awesome for me in a hoodie. Nowadays I still like it for some reason! Maybe it's just a form of nostalgia.

I love everything about the T4 aesthetic including Jin's hoodie.
