...Which is why Wikipedia entries allow you to not only check the version history for edits and who contributes to the entries, but the references being used for the information in the entry in order to verify the entries. Regardless, just because "anyone" can contribute to an information source doesn't mean it's false information, that's what fact checking is for and you should be doing simple fact checking for ANY information source these days in the "Here's a crazy headline I made up for clicks" era.
