Wait, wut (Elaine Chao):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Chao#Husband.27s_campaigning

The New York Times has described her as "an unapologetically ambitious operator with an expansive network, a short fuse, and a seemingly inexhaustible drive to get to the top and stay there." It reported that as labor secretary, she "had gold-colored coins minted with her name in bas-relief and employed a "Veep"-like staff member who carried around her bag."[6]

Exactly.

You accomplish nothing. You just lose for inviting him on.

100%

Especially since you know Maher is going to focus on what happened at Berkley... there's almost guaranteed to be a bonding moment over the "Regressive anti-free speach left" they all love to prop up.

It's going to give Milo credibility... because he's probably not even going to go all out hate speech like he does at his talks.

Milo is evil not an idiot

Maher's interview with Conway was cringey, I don't expect much of a discussion with Milo past what people assume, complaining about free speech.

Protesters get up at DNC forum in DC, demanding Perez "commit to supporting primary challengers" against Dems who vote for Trump noms.

Even with all the horrible shit that Trump has done and wants to do are liberals and leftists still going split over pointless symbols? I can't believe anyone cares enough about votes that have zero impact to actually protest this.

These people aren't part of the party, shouldn't be part of the party, and should be given all the respect they deserve (which is none.)

The alt-right does not like Milo.

Milo "jokes" about taking away women's suffrage and killing Muslims.

The alt-right (Richard Spencer types) actually believes it.

And I'm sure Milo will be at his lightest for Maher's interview, I just hope he isn't on the panel so I have to watch his bullshit for the entire show.

I'm wondering if that Steven Miller twitter that LGF reported on was a bait. If so, it would be a big thing for the proto alt-right sorts who have been trolling that site since the Bush years.

Left wing sites seem particularly sucecptable to this because they are, by and large, community sites who expect a certain integrity to the content if they are paying for it, and they are forever tarnished by a story that doesn't pan out. Breitbart can throw any shit at the wall but the Mercers will back them up regardless.

Noted idiot Zaid Jilani chimes in.

@ZaidJilani
this resist trump brand of politics is the lamest thing in the world. politics is about ideology not a referendum on one person

@ZaidJilani
same thing happened with obama, and bush. real powerful movements and interests dont have such a childish approacj, have real goals

‏@ZaidJilani
also youre not resisting anything. trump isnt a nazi or youd all be dead. this is politics. win people over, organize, vote, achieve goals

Real Nazis release a Nazi energy wave into the world when they are birthed, causing the immediate death of 4-7 million non-white people.

Kaine also endorsed Northam. It's going to be Northam. Which is fine. He has the structural and organizational advantage and the political experience not to say stupid stuff. I'd rather go with safe and competent in the Trumpmera than risk giving Republicans a chance and, god forbid, a win.

Uh, I wish he never apologized. To me, Trump being elected is the most terrifying thing to hit the US since 9/11 for fuck's sake.
People died in Virginia on 9/11. There was a line of people at the pay phones at my school full of kids trying to make sure their parents were ok. (I was one of them.)

He is deservedly going to get shit for that comment and the fact that he didn't know better than to not make it is a ridiculously huge red flag.

Last night after the NYT report of communications with the Russians, CNN said they had names, but were waiting for white house comment before releasing the story. Did they ever name anyone? I dont recall seeing that today.

Hayes on MSNBC is an ass. Got owned by Sarandon. You're working real hard Chris, while you watch baseball as ur on air. Dude is a chump. Someone tell me Anderson is crushing him in ratings.

Is this satire? Sarandon and Fox were embarrassingly bad, and I say that as a profound Clinton skeptic. It was awkward to watch.

It was mentioned in the main OT thread...Manafort, Flynn, and I forget the other 2...basically no surprises.

U.S. intelligence officials have withheld sensitive intelligence from President Donald Trump because they are concerned it could be leaked or compromised, according to current and former officials familiar with the matter.

The officials’ decision to keep information from Mr. Trump underscores the deep mistrust that has developed between the intelligence community and the president over his team’s contacts with the Russian government, as well as the enmity he has shown toward U.S. spy agencies. On Wednesday, Mr. Trump accused the agencies of leaking information to undermine him.

In some of these cases of withheld information, officials have decided not to show Mr. Trump the sources and methods that the intelligence agencies use to collect information, the current and former officials said. Those sources and methods could include, for instance, the means that an agency uses to spy on a foreign government.
