it's everything I hate about gaming. Awful story. Overwrought cinematics to tell story instead of story through gameplay. Dumb characters with dumb motivations. Clunky, unintuitive controls. Shitty animation. Confusing UI system designs in the name of being "cool". Inconsistent game design. Gameplay devices added just because instead of having a tangible improvement on gameplay. Ugh.

Kojima makes (bad) movies with a game around it. I see why the first one got popular, it was unprecedented at the time. Now talk to a Metal Gear fan and they all tell you they play because it's Metal Gear, not because it's particularly fun or interesting.

The 5th mainline installment did away with basically everything you listed here. Yet it gets a ton of hate/backlash lol. Mainly due to being completely different from its predecessors.

It's heavy focus on crisp smooth gameplay makes it the best of the bunch. I have no shame in admitting in enjoyed MGS3 because of nostalgia reasons.

Horizon Zero Dawn is the real next gen Zelda.

Early GAF impressions sound good.

Still cautious. I'm not too confident in the devs.

No chance. Anyone that hurts their own team just so their agent can get paid is not a HoFer. If they ever have a hall of great players who are terrible people, TO can go into that.

They already do.

It's called the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

You're kidding yourself if you think that TO would be the first asshole they let in the Hall.

Kinda going for different things between them. They each took different things from the Far Cry formula though so I get why people compare them

My problem with 5 is that the back half of the game is just a slog. It felt unfinished, and when I beat it I was relieved I was finally done with it instead of happy I beat it. Those first couple hours were amazing though

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

I'm fine with him getting in. As long as he waits as long as say Art Monk had to.

Horizon is on a last gen system while the best version of Zelda is on the only next generation system there is, fam.

I don't think I minded it too much. I got fucking sucked into that game. If anything the most disappointing part was the mother base stuff which wasn't fully realized.

The 2nd half did feel disjointed. The stories pacing as a whole just felt random. Overall though it was a hell of a ride.

It was one of the best-playing games I've ever played, which was surprising because the earlier entries could have some pretty cumbersome controls. And the gameplay loop was great, I just wish they cut some of the fat off the back end, like doing side quests to unlock the story missions

Not the first but one of the worst. TO tried to use the fact that McNabb was a black QB against him. The eagles had to suspend him because he was being such an asshole.

Marvin Harrison is in the Hall of Fame and he ki-

...was an upstanding member of the community. You're right, TO doesn't deserve to get in because he was a crappy teammate. Good point.

Florio had a HoF voter on today and he said unless they change the people that vote he doesnt think TO ever gets in. He said when they get to the final vote you need 80% of the voters to vote for a person to get in, and that there are a lot of people on the panel who were extremely opposed to TO.

Is there really buzz about Watt for Gronk?

No. It was this nonsense. The reasoning for it is just dumb.

Clowney had a good year they dont need JJ anymore. I said it yesterday: if you dont have a true franchise QB your best and only shot is a dominant defense. Yeah the Texans defense was good last year but the potential next year with Watt returning is phenomenal.

The best ones are cowboy fans! "Romo for Watt and a first round pick! It is a fair trade!"......

You have a strange burden of proof of a conviction for Harrison, while simultaneously badmouthing someone that was never convicted of anything in his life.

I have no idea what Harrison did or not. If you want to keep guys like him and Ray Lewis out I am totally fine with that. I just dont think that because people who did terrible things in real lie are in, then we have to ignore what a piece of shit TO was. Anyone that sabotages their own team to force a trade so they can get a new contract should not be in the HoF. This argument comes up a lot in baseball, Ty Cobb is a racist piece of shit and he is in the HoF, so that means they cant keep out any other bad people. It is silly the voters who let Ty Cobb in are not the voters today, todays voters have to decide on the people today, and today TO doesnt deserve to be in the HoF.

"Trade JJ Watt" all over my twitter timeline.

I hate the off season.

If you're following other fans of your team on Twitter, you gotta stop that right now.

If you're following sports analysts/talking heads on Twitter saying this, you DEFINITELY gotta stop that. It'll drive you mad.

Dolphins will be releasing LT Branden Albert today, source says. It's Tunsil time there. Adds an intriguing option to the tackle market.

Source says Tony Romo expecting release, not trade, and believes he can start as #NFL QB 2-3 more seasons despite turning 37, injury history

Based on what I heard from people inside #Patriots at SB and those familiar with their approach, I'm not expecting @JimmyG_10 to be traded

There was a report recently about him asking Jerry for his release so he could find the best situation for himself. I wonder if that is what happened. Crazy they couldnt trade him for anything with how desperate teams are for QBs.

30 million dollar cap hit will do that

Strange to see them release Albert, just makes another hole they have to fill...but he looked pretty done last year, dude just can't move anymore.

At least we have Tunsil to just step in,

There's no real leverage for the Cowboys here though. Everyone knows the Cowboys need to move Romo one way or another due to cap space, so why bother giving up trade assets for him in addition to the crazy contract you'll need to take on? Plus, he's old and has an injury history, and has barely played meaningful football in 2 years, and probably won't make it more than 2 more

Although the quality of player is vastly different, it's the same with the Eagles and Barwin. I can't possibly see any team trading for him, since he's a guaranteed cut for the Eagles and a team could probably sign him on the cheap rather than trading and taking on his contract.
