Doing another pass on my backlog of dumping games I will never even boot up and sending them to the "done with" category.

Mostly the most fodder of bundle fodder really, im not even that harsh since for example in reality I should dump all the hidden object games but I dont.

Anyway, this shit takes ages, I've covered up to "T"...but I started from the bottom ;_;

Its also super annoying when games arent on Steam anymore and I have no idea what they are :/

You can click "Community Hub" instead of the store page to potentially get some idea.

Yeah or go to the forums, still not ideal tho. Although 95% of the cases if the game is gone it was probably not worth it anyway, with notable famous exeptions which I either dont own, or do and already played.

For example all the digital homicide games are gone and im pretty sure all that shit isnt worth 2 seconds of my time.

Is she fighting in her underwear? That's some dedication to your job if instead of sleeping you just keep working your Alchemy shop. I mean, that doesn't explain the clothes, but still.
While I don't really think that her clothes look like underwear (the only egregious character in that regard in the game is Plachta - her clothes really are a bit silly) Sophie basically sleeps once a month, at least the way I play the game. So yes, she's dedicated, but there's just so much to do!

Impressions on Batman: Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition, best game I've played this year yet, together with Elliot Quest.

header.jpg

What a game! Even after all these years this game holds up so damn well. It's also still surprising how it suddenly reached such quality heights after decades of bad to average licensed games as easy cash ins coming from the industry. The intro works wonders to immerse you in the world, then, when you get out from Intensive Treatment and come out to the open area, you're stoked by how ambitious the game is... and it keeps one-upping itself, adding more and more places, enemies, riddles and items as you go on. The level design is on point, with metroidvania elements, the combat can be frustrating but it's a new approach and is cool to watch: when things go your way you really feel like the Batman, too bad for the camera messing things up at times. There's a little bit of everything sprinkled in there, stealth, fighting, action, puzzles, adventure, which makes the package feel complete and hard to put in a set category: just like the big games of yore, this one feels like it's inspired by past works but creates its own rules, the end result being something unique and never seen before. Boss fights are all very different and unpredictable, aside from the final one, which was far too easy and kind of a let down. The writing and voice over is nice, especially Hamill's stellar performance as the joker, the world feels alive and Arkham is context heavy: not one stone positioning is left unexplained: you can actually see the cells of most famous inmates and find what they've left behind in the asylum's halls. I can only wonder what it was like to play such a stunning game when it came out ten years ago.

Eight years, but who's counting? Anyway, it was about the same, actually. Lots of glowing reviews just like yours, and lots of calls for Rocksteady to give other superheroes similar treatment (although history has shown us that they never expanded their team and stuck with Batman.)

Glad you enjoyed it. I did too, and I liked City even more, but around here I think I'm in the minority in that opinion.

I decided to try do my first full RE4 walkthrough, from beginning to ending. I played this game on several platforms, but only some episodes from different parts of the game, 2007 PC port was shit and i never finished it. So, i downloaded that new 2014 Ultimate HD version and... Got huge motion sickness and nausea after 20 minutes of playing =/

I finished RE5 on PC, played other recent RE games and frequently playing action games, but i never had such problems before. Anyone knows why this happened and how to fix this issue? I really want to finish this cursed game at least ones.
I discovered that i got motion sickness because of ridiculously small default FOV (something around 50 and even lower in aim mode) that caused noticeable screen tearing while moving camera. I was forced to use cheatengine and change FOV to 100 value and played through 1-1 chapter without any problem. Here is what game looks like by default on 1080p:
And this is screen with fixed FOV:
Apparently, i don't feel sick 10 years ago because i was playing with small screen resolutions and FOV was fine for 4:3, but it's not good for 16:9. Oh Capcom, they added widescreen support but left FOV untouched, why I'm not surprised?

Made a topic for a Kickstarter going on for a game known as Organ Quarter.

Kickstarter for the game here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1949177640/organ-quarter-classic-survival-horror-adventure-ga
Trailer for Organ Quarter here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io9E-P2RkUg

It had a free demo on Steam a few months ago, and the Kickstarter has 18 days to go. It's a horror game, obviously. While it is being designed with VR, it launches for Vive, then a few months after gets Oculus support and non-VR support.

Here was the Steam Demo: http://store.steampowered.com/app/544510

Here's some GIFs:

RE4 was always widescreen though. On PS2 and GameCube it was letterboxed.

... the hell? i don't remember him having hair in dinosaur form

Well he and Kid are playable even though we didn't see much of them fight in the manga, so they took liberties with a few of the designs it seems.
Though to be fair, Lucci keeps his hair when he transforms into his Leopard forms.

Wow a double post? Really?
Hopefully the kids take mercy on your soul.
This is easily the worst thing any poster can do on this board.

I think he was apologizing for the other kind of DP. In advance.

And those GMG lootboxes have always been shit. Remember their other mystery packs? Did anyone get anything worthwhile, as in, not previously bundled or dated into a price range that makes the pack not worth it?

Playing kingdoms of amalur with the ysa mod enjoying this more than skyrim n witcher 3 wish i brought it before

Yeah I picked up Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I previously had tried it on the PS3 but the muddy graphics weren't selling me on the game. Looks much better on PC and it's surprisingly fun and involving. I'll probably keep playing it.
