Ditch it. Sell it for cash, or trade it at the shine if you have a deficit of elixers.
Be sure to press square to lock gear you are interesting in, otherwise press R2 to select all will create instances where you gear you'd like to hang on to (for whatever reason) will accidentally get sold or whatever.
Man, the last bit of this game is changing my whole persepctive on it. Some fucking batshit crazy ideas. That boss u mention, and then a fucking hard as nails mission that blocks ng+ and unlike progression in the entire rest of the game, you cant get help. Fucking bullshit! Yes I am frustrated and throwing my toys out the pram lol
Frankly I've never done it. I know it's easy to stream to from the ps4, so I'm guessing it's just as easy to upload to youtube from it? Does it keep gameplay video for a certain amount of time or is it something you have to pre decide to record? I'll do some research because it seems like something that would be fun to do.
Two hotkey bars is not even close to enough. I don't even have enough room for my ninjutsu, forget having a couple of elemental weapon buff onmyo magics. Sucks.
Every boss up to the blob has been killed on the first attempt, minus two for Tachi, on this new game. I wasn't looking forward to slime boy again, but just knowing what to do made all the difference. Actually having as much fun now as with the first playthrough.
Congratulations! It's the best way to play the game. Most fun i ever had with Nioh was in the Last trial and an almost Level 1 (I think about level 5 but no skills unlocked) Boss fight. It's really great and you have to change stances every second.
I recorded it! PS4 saves the last 15 Minutes of Gameplay, just press the share Button and select the video Option.

The level where you can fall in the water is one of the most horrible levels I've ever played in a "souls like" game.. ugh. But anyway, anything?
I've beaten all other souls games, but they pack the cheapness into smaller levels and it's getting intolerable. And I also don't get the forging, fashion stuff or the soul match.
More forging questions. Can you get multiple different exotic skills on the same weapon? Also, does quick attack life drain clash with any of the damage skills like change to attack or close combat damage?

Did you light all the bonfires in the level? They prevent the adds from spawning at the start of phase 1 and phase 2. You can also use them to buff your weapon with a very strong fire buff, but then they allow one of the adds to spawn. Stick close to him in phase 1 and he basically can't hit you with his arm attacks. Stay ready to dodge the beam and projectiles.

I want the best upper katana sword stance build. I'm lv 54. I have the book to reset all the levels, but I don't know what's the best place to put points so far. I have 30 in katana place it and 10 in every single skill. I want a samurai with light armor but with good life.
Nearing the end of the final mission. I really liked the game, especially the combat and music. I've had less complaints with the level design, in particular the second half, than others it seems. I thought the game had a fair amount of interesting locales; your mileage may vary. Looking forward to the DLC

New weapon types
New scenarios
New characters
New guardian spirits New yokai
New stages
I'm going to grab the season pass, and the items bolded are what I'm really looking forward to out of it. The game needs totally new enemy types, as they start to get a little stale by region 3, more weapon types is of course welcome (I'd like to see them rebalance the mission rewards and crafting, as it's too katana heavy), and new levels to play in is a no brainer.
I hardly even use LW, and I can't keep up with who is who in the game as it is, as far as the things I'm less interested in.
I use a kusarigama, but it's basically 95% of the time on high stance. The high stance on that weapon actually swings faster than the midstance by a fair margin, but it sacrifices range. Mid-stance is OK for crowd control, but I find it fairly useless for most encounters. Way too slow.
Sorry guys I know I sound like a noob but is there a point of wearing set item gear? On the last map on the first island an ultra rare bow and a sword set item dropped. I have the armor set as well, but I'm wondering what bonuses I get if I have the entire armor set on?

You'll be surprised how much faster things die in high stance.
I use it against a single Youkai if it's slow or weaken.
It also depends on weapons, Katana don't really have many good high stance exclusive moves but something like the Dual Katana has the amazing water sword or windstorm attack in high stance
Uhh. Kind of phoned it in with that one. Nobu was fun enough, but human Kelley was a complete joke. Never touched me and just ate it over and over again until he died. Dragon was Centipede tier sloppy, just aimless running waiting for attack windows. Really disproportionate quality of bosses in this game, and they definitely skew towards junk.
Getting the hot springs trophy is a real drag. Since you don't know which ONE bath you haven't gone in yet (I have 92% found) you have no choice but to go to every single level and try them all.

Personally I do consider the dragon the final boss, and the hundred eyes is just an optional side thing. Latter was certainly much easier than dragon boss as well.
Also finally got the spa trophy. Last one was Mt. Hiei.

The game doesn't agree with that. The gold trophy, Battle's End, is rewarded from finishing the Queen's Eyes. Oh, and you also can't level your Guardian Spirits before finishing that mission.
By the way another random aside, f*ck this game when it comes to having to fight some kind of yokai while there are people perched far away ALSO shooting cannons at you.
I went through a video guide after the last mission to see which one or two I was missing, you should be able to tell a room you haven't found.
There are only like 20 hotsprings, and 1/3 are on the same mission. You can wrap that trophy up in 30min tops since you don't even have to complete the mission, just beeline for it and himorogi out.
) and I wanted to offer some updated thoughts on it, as my previous comments were from when I was at about the halfway point. My opinion of this game has improved, although I stand by what I said previously. Side missions (mostly) suck, enemy variety is sorely lacking for a game of this length, and I'm still not a huge fan of the loot system. All of that said, I ultimately liked it, and felt the game improved as I went on.
I personally felt that mission and encounter design in the last three areas was much better than previous zones, and really enjoyed the increase in challenge. The boss fights were all great with one exception (
fuck Gasha Dokuro
) and I loved the
boss rush of sorts
in the final level. NG+ is really cool as well. The real star of the show, though, is of course the combat, which is excellent and only improved as I continued to experiment with different skills and stances. It's really the best combat system of any game on PS4, I'd wager, but I still think the game's flaws weigh it down heavily.
My final verdict would be a 7.5, if I had to give it a score. I think it's ultimately a good action game that could've great with less filler and repetition. To it's credit, however, the core gameplay of Nioh is so good that it's kept me coming back in spite of it's shortcomings, and with so many other things commanding my attention now, that's saying something. The potential for a sequel here is sky high, and I hope Team Ninja can deliver.
